The RTGI looks really nice IMO, but yeah, we'll see how they go about implementing it. Wondering if a form of RT comes to console as well (I'm personally hoping for RTGI on PS5 Pro so I can make more beautiful photos).
Don't worry, considering the general level of optimization on all platforms and performance issues, you'll have just screenshots on your screen instead of the game :messenger_tears_of_joy:
All this is of course nothing more than an advertising campaign on the part of Nvidia, I hope this is not their priority and they are busy with more important things, and they definitely have them.

Touché! If it comes to consoles, it will probably be a toggleable option like it currently is in ZZZ, so I'll just enable it when I take photos. :p

Could't write yesterday cuz I've played the game almost the whole day and I just got home from work. I'm SO GLAD that I gave the game a second chance after dropping in the first time. Go the the Mt. Firmament. (looks goddamn fantastic!) got a ton of gold and great echoes for my Lumi (and other characters as well) and I just never been happier playing WuWa. The island is huge, varied and a lot of fun to explore with lots of hidden secrets, cool quest you get from a random NPC (I'm yet to finish it, clearly I need to go further in the story quest first), ah, I'm happy now, especially considering that I've the whole month free from ZZZ and the waiting for Evelyn will not be so terrible anymore:messenger_smiling_with_eyes:

I've a question though - do you guys have Lumi? Idk what to do with her higher tier skills, I mean, I know I want to get her Crit Rate skills first cuz base level is complete shit, but as for the rest... should I invest in the the base skills first beyond getting Crit Rate up? What in general is the best way of doing it in WuWa? I aleardy figured out how Echoes system works, but I don't want to mess up my Lumi build cuz I love her to death and playing as her 90% of time - still can't believe they made her an A rank, unfuckin' believable.

P.S. Kuro, why the fuck won't you let me support the game unlike MHY?:messenger_loudly_crying:

If you think Firmament is good, wait until you get an hour or so into Rinascita. Glad you stuck it out.

I've been enjoying Lumi a lot too. Generally in any CN gacha, when I want to look up viable builds for characters, I have been using Game8. They've been really solid for me personally.

Here's Lumi's build guide. It offers best weapons, Echo sets, stats to aim for, roles she can play, etc. Obviously use your own judgement but they haven't let me down as far as setting a base direction for characters.

I would suggest going into youtube and seeing a build guide for her. Most build guides tell you what talents you should prioritize first hand.

Now don't go too deep into Echo if you have good ones with good ststs, play with them for now. The game is in a transition period now with 2.0, they added a lot of new Echo and new sets + it seems like they will add more in 2.1, so active tests are underway now and it will all take a couple of weeks for sure. There is no need to rush with the build now.

Lumi is played as a position 2. Before 2.0, 2 was usually collected through Moonlit Clouds, this set increases energy regeneration and when switching from it to another character gives that character +22% ATK for 15 seconds, which is perfect for position 2. Since Outro Skill on Lumi - every time you switch from her, incoming Resonator has their Resonance Skill DMG Amplified by 38% for 10s. Simply put, she is a damage buffer, and works well with characters that use skills very often. As for stats:
1. CRIT Rate - high priority 50-70%
2. CRIT DMG - high priority 100-140%
3. Energy Regen - medium priority 50-60%
4. ATK% - low priority

Since she is 2 and does not have a good way to quickly regenerate energy, she needs good Energy Regeneration, so it is undesirable for this stat to be below 50-60%.

Haha holy shit. I was just joking back in the early 2.0 promo materials when I said "hear me out" about the squid lady echo who we later learn is Lorelei.

But Kuro, in true "Gathering Wives" fashion actually lets you go on a LSD infused "date" with her, flying around a bubble filled starry sky and playing romantic vocal music that as far as I can tell isn't anywhere else in the game. Kuro are madmen and I am here for it lol. You even get a standard banner pull for completing the quest.

It's so damn random. When I saw Lorelei on the bridge I sure wasn't expecting that.

They went so hard on the OST for this.

The best part was when I landed and Nightmare Heron started picking a fight with me with the OST still playing.

Thanks a lot you guys for suggestion, I'll keep this all in mind while building her:messenger_smiling_with_eyes:
Currently pulling for huge S rank sword for her and no luck so far:messenger_pensive:

Got Zhezhi, finally, not pulling for her weapon though cuz I highly doubt that I get it in 7 pulls like it happened with Carlotta's weapon. I rather save all my pulls for the next rerun :messenger_relieved:

Started farming my set for Brant, soon to realize there's no tacet field for his set yet...

I need a 3 echo Chop Chop, with fusion DMG as main stat, but so far, nothing.

Yesterday, my last farmed echo was a chop chop with fusion DMG, but for a different set, not the one I need.

Whew, finally finished 2.0 main story and Carlotta's character quest. Main story was easily 8-9 out of 10. It became kinda metaphorical towards the end which I am never a big fan of, but the gameplay, cutscenes, story was all really cool. There was some great setup for future chapters too, and I'm excited to see what happens. That was a LOT of story for one patch, they really went all out. One thing that annoys me is when they throw subtitles at the bottom of the screen that you're supposed to read while doing battle or traversal or something. I've noticed it in a few instances this patch, and I only caught the basic gist of what was being said. It's not as bad if they also voice the lines, but the ones that are text only kinda sucks.

Regarding Carlotta's quest, It wasn't one of my favorites, but I never enjoy stories about family politics and the like. There were still some good moments, but she didn't come close to either Changli or Shorekeeper's quests. Did it take anybody else way too long to realize how to pop the balloons in the main hall to make that treasure chest drop with the codes? I kept using the grapple to try to hit them from melee range until I stopped and remembered that we have a gun gadget.

Now I need to focus on building my Carlotta. I noticed that she uses that new generic material for nearly everything, so I'll be slaughtering stuffed animals and puppets for the next week or so, looks like. They really improved the gathering assistance utility. It takes you to the area and highlights each gathering point on the map, making it a breeze to collect, unlike the first few versions of the game. Already done with her sword flowers or whatever. I had a Glacio Echo set for my Zhezhi before I switched her to an off-field support and gave her an Energy set, so she can just use those for now until I happen upon some better stuff from the new set. I like her gameplay, but if I had one complaint, it takes way too long to fill her Forte bar (I think that's what it's called) so you can do her enhanced heavy attack. The rest of the kit flows well enough, but I always feel like I'm about 20 normal attacks too many to get that thing filled. I also don't know her best swap points yet, so when I play her it's mainly as an on-field carry. Still one of my favorite DPS characters in a while.

I did some random jumps with air dash, grapple hook and button mashing to somehow get it. Now after reading your comment I feel like an idiot.

I just checked PSN JP, and it looks like WuWa is holding strong on the Japanese top grossing list (currently ranked #2 just behind Genshin)!
I wanted to say that the Japanese have good taste, but I saw Genshin first and I changed my mind. Okay, I'm kidding. This is normal for Gatcha and Free to Play games, people came for a new release, and usually the first 1-2 updates are key. How many users will remain after them, this is very important. Therefore, we will see the final picture by 2.1 - 2.2. For Kuro, this is a success in any case, this is their most successful and most profitable game at the moment. Everything is in their hands, the star turned out to be good.
Edit: Also, here's clean 4k wallpapers with I think all the promo art Kuro has released so far.
I'm using Wallpaper Engine from Steam, the fans there are not sitting idle either and have already made quite a few themes.

And others, there is plenty to choose from:

Spent some time building Carlotta tonight, got her at 90 with her lv 90 sig weapon, working on skills currently. I'm using her with Yinlin and Jianxin and it's a ton of fun to play. It's a bit annoying playing as Carlotta on uneven ground or in smaller/tight spaces since she automatically moves quite a bit during her normal attack chain, but otherwise I'm having a good time. This is exactly one of the reasons I still like Rover though, so much easier to control to be/attack exactly where I want him. When Jianxin's shield is up, it doesn't matter for Carlotta though, which I dig.

Don't think it'll supplant my main team for roaming around and doing sidequests, but I suspect it'll be decent in multi-team challenge content. I can always replace Yinlin with Zhezhi for Glacio-based towers. I'm finally getting close to having enough coverage that I don't have to just brute force one side with Jinhsi.

Yea if you go into the data bank, go into one of the sets that's incomplete (like if it says Freezing Frost 5/14) and find one that says ???. Click it and it will take you to the main data bank and there's a "Detect" button you can click to see where they spawn.

The camera in tight spaces is a common problem for all characters :messenger_grinning: . Her main weakness is AoE damage and the fact that it is single target oriented, but at the same time it is a huge plus since they are adding more and more bosses to the open world and there are mostly 1 on 1 battles.

Good team, but you can honestly increase DPS significantly by removing Yinlin and putting Sanhua if you have her. Yinlin just doesn't do anything for her, her Outro Skill gives - "The next character (or other characters on a nearby team that activates an Outro Skill) gains 20% Electro DMG Deepen, and 25% Resonance Liberation DMG Deepen for 14 seconds." The increase in electric damage for Carlotta does absolutely nothing, the increase in Resonance Liberation DMG will be very difficult to combine since the buff only lasts 14 seconds and you need to switch to Charlotte, and only Death Knell (when she summons 4 crystals) and the last shot of Fatal Finale count as Resonance Skill DMG. All other shots count as normal attacks. To be honest, you can take Lumi and the damage will be higher since Lumi gives when switching - "The incoming Resonator has their Resonance Skill DMG Amplified by 38% for 10s or until they are switched out". Because basically all Yinlin does in the group now is try to increase Carlotta's electrical damage, which she simply doesn't have. Although of course if you play casually and don't think about mechanics and DPS it doesn't matter. :messenger_grinning:

P.S - Zhezhi increases Ice damage, so she is considered the best 2 for her. (The incoming Resonator has their Glacio DMG Amplified by 20% and Resonance Skill DMG Amplified by 25% for 14s)

Was taking a look at best team compositions and Shorekeeper is in all of them.

I already knew she was a better Verina, but I legit wasn't expecting to see her in every damn team, specially because I got salty when I tried to get her and lost my 50/50 :messenger_tears_of_joy:.

If they truly make her run side by side with Zani, it's gonna be a very tough choice for me.

This is not true, they are equal. There are DPS with whom Shorekeeper is better, there are those with Verina, and there are those who don't care who to be with yet.
Verina can buff Coordinated Attacks, Shorekeeper does not have such a buff. Therefore, in all teams where characters use Coordinated Attacks, Verina will be better.
The Shorekeeper also doesn't really like groups with fast character rotations. Since she is very slow and needs time to warm up, and Verina has one of the fastest and shortest rotations in the game, she is very fast.
As an example Jinhsi - If you replace Verina with Shorekeeper on her team, your DPS will simply fall off a cliff.

Everything is fine, don't bother - I wrote at the end that if you play casually, all this doesn't matter. Play as you want and enjoy the game, that's the most important thing. (y)

Ideally you need both, each for their own DPS teams + if you go to endgame content (Tower of Adversity) you need 2 separate teams with 2 different Healers, so I also recommend her :messenger_tears_of_joy: . She is a very good character, just as usual each character has its pros and cons.

There's a real problem with YouTube content now, Kuro have never been on everyone's lips, now they've shot up on the wave of hype and a lot of content creators who used to make guides for Genshin and ZZZ are now trying to start making guides and videos for WuWa and oh my god how many mistakes and inaccuracies there are in them. The problem is that YouTubers who made guides for PGR - Kuro's fist game and then moved to WuWa weren't particularly popular and didn't have a large audience, while Mihoyo content creators have a huge audience and their videos are shown at the top in the algorithm, while videos from Kuro fans get lost in the crowd. Therefore, here you can only rely on how much you trust the content creators.

As an example:

DAMMIT. That Knight of the Silver/Crimson moon quest ended up not giving any unique loot at the end.

Why are game devs so obvious to this idea. Even if it was a 4* sword with less than desirable stats, or even one of those new weapon skins. Nope, just a standard banner pull.

This is a common situation in gatcha games, weapon rewards are rarely good. In WuWa, this is further aggravated by the fact that 5 weapon in this game from a regular banner are really good, and all the best 4 weapons are from a banner. That's why in this game, rewards in the form of spins of a regular banner are always a huge plus. I would like it more often, of course. :messenger_grinning:

They made a quest for which they gave Call of the Abyss (Rectifier) 4 stars, but it has a bonus - Casting Resonance Liberation increases the Resonator's Healing Bonus by 16% for 15s. Which, to put it mildly, is so dubious that it is not clear for whom it was made and, most importantly, for what purpose.

I just started this.

I tried Genshin Impact years ago but despite the beautiful landscapes I couldn't get into it because the characters seemed too childish/chibi or what have you.

I tried this yesterday and I'm instantly in love. The music is amazing and the characters actually look cool, at least a couple of the males including the nameless dude you can pick at the beginning do.

Now that I've finally managed to level up my main team to 80 and maxed out their skills for the world tier I'm in, I finally was able to complete all those lvl 120 combat encounters that were scattered throughout Black Shores. So now I've achieved 100% completion of the 2 Black Shores maps.

sdl9eyC.png

I've also 100% all the main story content (this was done last week), and over the next month or so, I'll try to get the rest of the trophies I'm missing in order to platinum the game. I need to reach max level with a resonator which I should be able to do in 2-3 weeks, upgrade their skills to max, and clear the Tower of Adversity with 3 stars. This last trophy seems to be the most difficult one, and it's going to take a while.

At the start of the game, this was much easier to do, but now it's not so easy. The fights themselves are not that difficult, but the opponents are level 100 with a very large HP reserve and a 5-minute timer, and you need to do it in 2 minutes max. In fact, this is a pure DPS check, on some characters it is very difficult without knowledge of rotations and optimal groups, and of course you need good echoes. Ideally, you need to wait for a good rotation, when the elements on the bosses will suit your DPS. I wouldn't say it's brutally difficult, but you'll have to sweat.

So, can anyone explain why in the world healing items are on goddamn cooldown and why there's no shortcut for them (or maybe I'm missing something)? Like, I don't have a healer now on my team cuz Zhezhi can't heal, so not only there's no shortcut for healing items and stuff at all (which in itself really bad design decision that literally force you to deal with a bunch of menus and waste your time, instead of playing the game and have fun), but you also need to wait for countdown timer, for healing items!? Like, yeah, I know that beacons can heal you, but why do I have to go out of my way and go back to one of them instead of exploring the world more? I literally fogot about I few places I wanted to explore and which cought my eye a few times already just cuz I needed to heal. Kuro, WTF?

giphy.gif

With a healer on my team it's almost a nonissue, but god forbid you don't have one on your team.

P.S.

Finally got S rank sword for Lumi (I'll get the sword for Rover after lvl 45 for free), now I'm in full-on save mode for the next rerun. None of the 2.1 characters are interesting to me unfortunately. Hopefully I'll manage to get Jinhsi at least :messenger_relieved:

With a healer on my team it's almost a nonissue, but god forbid you don't have one on your team.

Buy ingredients
Cook healing items
Go to main menu > Utilities > Bottom wheel > Select item to place on shortcut
Use Shortcut

I havent cooked anything in the game once (unless ther's tutorial for cooking and completely forgot about it). But the countdown timer though...
You should consider using the feature whenever possible. You get some decent level up rewards and at max reputation you can cook some very strong dishes like the one which increases your crit rate by 28% for 30 mins (I use it all the time for difficult open world content like those holograms or the level 120 echos).

The one that boosts your echo drop rate by 50% is also good.

Besides crafting, any tower that opens the map + any teleportation pole (They even resurrect the dead) can heal, you can just go to them, automatic healing. Outside of combat, Shorekeeper, Verina (To do this, you need to hold down her attack button so that she rolls along the ground, spends 1 stack), Baizhi and Youhu can heal, If I remember correctly, I haven't played with them for a long time.

P.S. - Crafting in this game is incredibly strong, and gives buffs for 15-30 minutes. If there are problems with bosses in the open world, usually through crafting this problem is solved very quickly, and no one will blame you for it. This is a single player game, play as you like =)

Sanhua - even in this picture so cool, the way she holds the guitar in this picture and the fact that she doesn't have a pick and plays with her fingertips, it looks like a 6 string bass guitar :messenger_sunglasses: :messenger_horns:

I've a few healers both S and A ranks incl. Verina's on my 3rd team and I need to build her first - for now I'm focusing all my efforts to build Zhezhi, Lumi, Carlotta and Rover. Baizhi is level 50 but it's pointless to have two supports on the team so I have her on my 2nd team cuz Carlotta gets a lot of buffs from Zhezhi so...

Btw, got some extremely good S rank echo with Crit Rate buff from the base and sub stat so now I've 35% Crit Rate and 208% Crit DMG for Lumi. Is there a base line for Crit Rate like in ZZZ or 35% + skill tree bonuses should be fine?

Dang, I've played so much already and haven't used cooking at all cuz I thought it's just some stupid buffs for 10-15 sec (I had the basic stuff already, so I based my assumption on this alone). But it looks like there's so very significant stuff there and some extremely good ones too. I'll dive in and see what else is there.

Just checked what ingredients I already have now and it's not much, I need to buy stuff. Speaking of, I bought some cooking recipes at the store in the city, where can I get more?
