Can you elaborate mate, I'm ignorant on whose who on the management front.

The Marvel Creative Committee Is Over
Can you elaborate mate, I'm ignorant on whose who on the management front.
It's the greatest superhero movie flop in the history of the world.
Actually, I'd be genuinely excited to see what they could do with Batman/Superman. I have a sneaky suspicion it would be more like Tim Burton's Gotham but dialed back a few notches.
Welp, looks like I'll be going to see an awful movie this weekend "/
I'm sure it's been asked a million times but what has Zack Snyder done in the last ten years that made WB think he was capable of helming this franchise?
Save us Batfleck.

The only character moment that you could give 2 shits about was the one the director fought tooth and nail to add, and then had to include random Thor scene because that was the ultimatum set on the movie. Marvel has its shtick and it works well but all those movies follow almost the exact same formula. All look like they were made from a suit checklist on things that worked on Ironman 1. Other than Winter Solider, but that movie was amazing. Don't try to sell me this bridge shit with Marvel being new evolving and different, c'mon now
... you mean the irony of Marvel and DC already doing so?
We have different opinions on what's good or bad. That's been established plenty. Personally I think ultron is pretty bad in its own way. My worst theater experience last year (that doesn't mean worst movie of the year so calm down before anybody bites. But the worst I saw last year? Yah)
It's too late at this point, but like everyone here is saying, a delay announcement is imminent.I'd love to see George Miller take over but Justice League begins shooting in early April, would they change plans so late?
It never ceases to amaze me that, even with hundreds of millions of dollars at play, they can't find a way to manufacture a satisfying, functional story in so many of these blockbuster movies. These massive projects, and yet they can't find the right words in the right order.
It's especially strange when you're dealing with characters that have such long histories. There are literally thousands of stories with these characters to work from.

I'd rank it below man of Steel personally
You can't flop before your opening weekend.
They were in talks buying Warner 1 1/2 years ago.
Disney would sell its mother to buy DC if a deal was presented.
As a fan of Superman, I'm going to hate this movie ain't I?
Fantastic Four was released last year though
You can't flop before your opening weekend.
Tell that to dead on arrival Terminator Genisys.
Tell that to dead on arrival Terminator Genisys.
I've had time to sleep on it after seeing it last night and I just hate it more. This movie, if Man of Steel didn't do it already, will make you vehemently HATE Superman.
Movie spoilers:
In a later scene, Superman is standing in front of the senate and a man who lost his legs during Man of Steel's finale is sitting in the courtroom, Lex has strapped him with a bomb to detonate to make Superman look bad. Clark hears the click of the detonator, looks at the guy, and just lets the bomb go off. You see the fire just consume hundreds of people as Superman just stands there looking sad.
I can't believe people will take their kids to see this.

Sorry that you feel I was being rude. You seemed slighted by his comments, but seemingly ignorant of Miller's history in Hollywood.
It hasn't been good.
ASBAR was the one with the yellow room and Green Lantern right? Yeah, that bit actually made me laugh.
The Iron Giant is still the best superman movie there is.
I find this hard to believe when Jurassic World and Fantastic Four came out in 2015, too.
Huh? There was ANOTHER Fantastic Four movie? FUUUUCK!!
Because Dini is a TV guy with no actual experience when it comes to producing major motion pictures. Asking him to take on an entire universe of the biggest budget movies in cinema history as his first job sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. And Timm is an artist.
Still wasn't confirmed a flop until weekend totals gathered. Cart can't move with horse in back.
That's the one!
It would never be allowed by the feds as Marvel and DC would be too dominant in the marketplace.

wot
Link.
You won't be able to find one but I'll ask for one anyway.

The superhero bubble could burst at any moment and Marvel has absolute dominance in that area. Warner wants a bit of that cake before everything is eaten. So they rushed, trying to get straight to the big team up. But apparently it's not working out well. They can't make up all the time Marvel had to develop and maintain it's cinematic universe, no matter how much money they throw.
Their only chance are new angles, like Suicide Squad.Sure. So will Suicide Squad since it's something new in the current superhero era. But the movies after? If people disliked BvS, will they really go to see the other hero movies? Or will the majority just stay with the MCU. After all, a lot of people have limited time, money and would rather stay in one particular universe.
Oh yeah I loved the part of the movie where Supes throws him arm brutally through the jokerExactly. These aren't new characters with a limited history. There are DECADES of history to draw from, including dozens of universally acclaimed and celebrated incarnations.
I swear, these versions are straight out of the Injustice: Gods Among Us universe...
I'm not even joking anymore; these incarnations feel exactly like the ones Zack Synder would celebrate... without understanding these are meant to be the VILLAINOUS incarnations of our heroes.
I'm pretty sure that monopoly laws wouldn't apply, actually.
... not sure if seriousHuh? There was ANOTHER Fantastic Four movie? FUUUUCK!!.
Seriously. Do you know how happy many of us would have been with a simple live action remake of this? It's especially strange when you're dealing with characters that have such long histories. There are literally thousands of stories with these characters to work from.
What has worse reviews right now, this or gods of Egypt?
The Iron Giant is still the best superman movie there is.
Is it really a "bubble" if it's been going on for 16+ years? At this point "superhero" is just another genre like "sci fi" or "western". Doubtful it will ever actually go away, though you may get a couple lean years here and there.
What was that?I still think we should go for my title idea for the Civil War OT.

It took a while for the mainstream to catch on, but Batman's image was changed by better writers before Miller.
They're referring to the comic space, I think.
You could at least get guys like Dini and Timm to map out story beats.

More cooks in the kitchen, more ingredients to work with, more expensive pots and pans doesn't always lead to better food.
What's missing here is raw talent... the kind of talent that usually isn't interested in or isn't wanted for these types of movies.
I never trusted Affleck Batman, but this looks worse than expected.
