The flight plan I just filed with the agency list me, my men, Dr. Pavel here. But only one of you!
I totally agree with no card. In the slow-mo replays it's clear that he was totally focused on going for the ball. Good call by the ref.

Please refer to where it says in the rule book that it matters. You need to control your movements, you can't kick people in the face and say "wasn't intentional".

If you want to go by the rules, that is considered dangerous play and isn't sanctioned with a yellow

Congrats to Costa Rica!!

I hope Prandelli gets rid of Cassano, Insigne, Chiellini and Motta forever. To think he left Rossi home (still in recovery from an injury... but in better shape than Suarez!) for Cassano and Insigne makes my head explode. Hell, we could have had Toni, Gilardino in plase of those useless garbage.
And Balotelli could use some bench next game. I think the Immobile-Cerci tandem is our best shot at scoring against Uruguay, they did great in Serie A and have a great chemistry which can make the difference

They are parking the bus but yet scored 3 vs team Suarez and 1 vs Italy? How many teams in this tournament have scored more than 4 goals in their 1st 2 games?

Please understand that a formation doesnt denote how attacking or defensive the mentality of a team is.

He's just showing his ignorance, that's all. Mexico does play 5-3-2, or 5-3-1-1 but that is dictated by the players we have. Mexico has slow central defenders, but fast back-and.-forth wing backs. The midfield is better creatively than defensively, so playing with a back 4 instead of 5 would leave the opposition 1 on 1 most of the times in the back, because the wing backs risk a lot going forward. Peralta and Chicharito are too similar in playstyles, and they are our 2 CFs, so playing Giovanni free behind them is always the better option. If we had Vela in the team I think we would actually play with 3 forwards, him on the left and Gio on the right, but he didn't want to come.

Mexico is inferior to Brazil, that is why we played defensively. Against Cameroon, with the same lineup they went forward, attacked a lot and scored three goals. Heck, the defense was a bit shaky there in the end due to the WBs spending too much time up top. A couple of good crosses almost cost us a goal in the end.

But hey, it's easier to make shit up to fit the narrative and pretend you know better about football than giving credit to teams you constantly consider inferior when things are not going your way. Delusional.

I dont hate my neighbors, but it's a competition. You are taking the competition part out of the equation.

No, I'm not. Competition in sports isn't about mindless patriotism. It's about having fun.

If Uruguay or Mexico win the Cup, you can be sure as hell that I'll be partying hard with them here in Brazil. You can keep your "competition" if it means I can't have fun when my team isn't playing.

So you're rooting for Argentina?

Argentina is an exception.

we? that's not how it works. I don't care about most of the other LA countries, usually the other south american countries don't like Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay are rivals, etc

Whatever you say.

Holy shit I missed him saying Honduras are better than Eurosnobs teams

Give the fuck over :lol

Regardless, the fact that a European team might be better than Honduras doesn't cause my erection to throb with continental passion. I don't give a fuck. I'm happy for Costa Rica because they're underdogs. I'd be happy for Bosnia to beat Argentina because they were underdogs. I'd be happy for Ghana to beat Germany because they're underdogs.

I do not and will never give a fuck about supporting teams from my own country or continent other than my own club or country. By all means feel free to chant for USA or whatever team you support, but to do it for an entire continent feels like an inferiority complex rearing it's head.

Cassano and Insigne had good seasons. Rossi was on a surgery table for most of the season.
