I'll try one more time anyone happen to have a mixed (modern) wood floor that I could buy or catalog? I'll pay like 30k for it.
can you upgrade the stores to a point where they have natural early to late hours?
I don't think I want to give up A Beautiful Town ordinance
You put as many as you can in your house and watch them rock out.So what exactly do I do with gyroids? I keep digging 'em up and storing them in my house. Do they have any use at all?
Incredible work all round, but that house is nightmare fuel incarnate.
Awesome stuff!
goddamn, this is great. you drew the moon yourself? :O
thank god the pattern generator sites exist so i can pretend to be as talented.
This felt good.

Don't put them in your house! They'll slowly drive you insane and goad you into slaughtering your village.
I need 200,000 Bells to pay off my house. Would anyone let me in their town to sell my oranges? I'll give you some of course. :3
No one?
I've had this game for 2 days but I can't seem to muster up the courage/attention to play it.

It's one of the most inviting games around. Even when the vast amount of content can feel daunting, it's presented to you in such a way that it really doesn't.
You should just dive in.
The beauty is though that even though there's so much content, you don't need to feel rushed to complete it. In fact if you try to then you'll burn out. I enjoy just putting in an hour or so here and there throughout the day and it almost feels like routine. It's great.I think that's what's happening. I just feel intimated by how much there is to do. Almost like I want to freeze time and experience it without interruptions.

What's to be intimidated by? You can barely do anything for the first few days. And it's not like you can screw anything up.

You can take the game at your own pace.
You're not gonna get penalized for not doing anything.
The game isn't exactly a competitive one either, so "falling behind" isn't exactly an issue.
Mine are all on the second floor as part of my torture room.

A lot of people are probably unlocking the QR machine today, so just a heads up, there are some cool "official" QR patterns on the New Leaf website. Just scroll to the bottom and click the "Exclusive Designs" section.

Just play it and don't worry about what other people are doing. Who cares if you only build your second bridge half a year later?
Why doesn't the rain water the flowers...
I'm not really worried about catching up to you guys. Even if I got it Day 1 I'd fall behind eventually.
I probably just need to exhaust my other games first. I think it's the pressure of having a backlog.
Why doesn't the rain water the flowers...and why is the megaphone so awesome?
Pretty sure it does, they just don't sparkle. It's been raining in my town for four days and I haven't watered my flowers and they're fine. (How long does it take them to dry out?)
