54% of GPUs on Steam are close to or better than a base PS5. According to JPR Nvidia and AMD ship tens of millions of discrete consumer GPUs per year (so not datacenter bound GPUs).Define massive demand, I'm confident you're throwing that word around easily. We've talked about this before, but most PC gamers have a rig less powerful than a base PS5. So again, I ask, how are you defining demand as massive?
So the demand for GPUs are certainly there, the problem is Nvidia are increasingly wanting to sell to the datacenter market and thus leave tiny margins for AIBs and a shortage of general stock.
