600 for xt is good. 550 for dx is meh. At least from what we know.
now.

idk why im still so skeptical of the performance leaks. They're looking fairly credible at this point. Still thinking about rdna3 rumors being all over the place until 5 minutes before the reveal.

Yeah, what would be the point of the 9070 if the XT was only $50 more.

Hidden movement?:
It's a compromise. The XT comes out at a good price and stays there, the DX comes out at a bullshit price and drops fast like they usually do.

Now all they need to do is not make enough XT's and jack up the street prices on those so impatient people buy the dx Get on the level, AMD. Mindfuck us.

Why does AMD suck at consistently naming their video cards?
Oh, that's simple. Last gen they needed a way to justify the stupid increase in price for each tier so they renamed each card a tier above and had to come out with 3 different 7900s.

But since it was retarded and disconnected from tier/chip size, they had to change their names again to avoid shooting themselves in the foot. This time they chose the same way Nvidia names their cards

less than 3 hours. 600 sounds too good for the xt and also msrp means nothing sadly.
It means a lot. You can't decide a price and then change it based on availability. The PS5 was impossible to find at launch, but once it was, the MSRP is the price people paid for it.

It all comes down to supply. The fact retailers have had plenty of them in stock for more of a month is good news, but they will be sold out id you're not quick.

600 means 900-1000 in europe. We'll see how good these cards are, how good fsr4 is and how is the supply. If its good and i can get one at launch around 900 euro i might switch. A lot of "if" s tho

The 50 series was pretty much aligned with exchange rates so hopefully it's the same for these cards. £979, €1,229 and $999 for the 5080 as an example with the latter without tax for the US.

RX RADEON X XTXX XT

XT
Not what I mean. You would think that the 9070 predecessor would have been the 8070, but instead it's 7700. then previous to that is 6700, 5700, Vega 20, Vega 64, RX570, RX470, R9370

Meanwhile nVidia be like GTX770, GTX870, GTX970, GTX1070, RTX2070, RTX3070, RTX4070, RTX5070

AMD is all over the place and inconsistent.

Now that we know the raster and we got an idea about the price (599-649$ most likely), it's all about the technology, hope they got some stuff to show from FSR 4 and even FG (and some expanded RT details)

Hopefully the next FSR is as good as nvidia's DLSS (without fake frames counting), then it's pretty much gg for me unless the AMD drivers are complete shit again.

If true, this makes it faster than 7900 XTX/4080S but slower than a 5080.

That seems too good to be true. I really hope the reviews from independent outlets are in line with that assessment though. That would be great.

Man, who decided to do this so early? Happening at 5am PST here on the west coast. Hoping to get a decent MSRP and detailed info on FSR4.
