It's mostly PS5 gamers saying that lolPCMR: "PS5 Pro is so expensive! Haha!!"
In relation to the ps5 pro nobody buying a 5090 that can't run games above 30 fps. I'm replying to anyone who is saying get a ps5 pro like it's apples to apples.Since when did the 5090 come with a CPU?
Veilguard devs might be hacks, but not this much. It looks like that just for a frame or two before FSR does its thing.PS5 perf mode looks like someone is playing with a 16bit mod
As long as it offers stuff like Cyberpunk patch traced at good framerate and IQ, which ain't even granted on next gen consoles, it's more than worth it. Might even entice devs to push stuff further in a similar fashion in other games.
Every piece of software on Steam and elsewhere is going to benefit automatically from it in a way or another, and it's unquestionably going to show its value clearly once compared with technically advanced games running like absolute ass on consoles for both IQ and performance, while pushing better settings as well; games that are going to be more and more frequent now that the cross-gen phase is over.
Folks might mock the price (and those clowns who made fools of themselves in regards to PS5 Pro), but surely not what this is thing is going to do.

4K DLSS Quality Max comparison wouldn't be flattering even outside of consoles.
Makes for very effective warring ammo though.
It's not mostly. You're forgetting other console gamers will bash console 2 for the big war. And then the console warrior PC gamers (PCMR) will rag on it. PS gamers aren't making YouTube videos of how you can get more power out of a PC with "this build".It's mostly PS5 gamers saying that lol
Eh just don't buy pointless refreshes *shrug*. Especially when hardware is mid.$700 for a PS5 PRO

$400 PS5 regularEh just don't buy pointless refreshes *shrug*. Especially when hardware is mid.
The shitty part is they stop production of the previous gen so you can’t buy them new at a lower price
i take great care of my stuff, but ive learned most people do not. That's what the used market is for

We are now in performance car parts pricing territory for PCs.
if you plan to use it until the ps6 pro that would be over 8 years$700 for a PS5 PRO
700 for a PS6
$1400 total over 4 years
Getting into PC prices here people.
Yeah, but you can't eat a 5090.Still cheaper than Five Guys burgers.
Enjoy your 720p games I guess.
Yep, it's 'spensive all right.if you plan to use it until the ps6 pro that would be over 8 years
It’s like saying…
$1600 4090
$2000 5090
That’s $3600 over 2 1/4 years
Generations are getting longer so maybe $600+ going forward, every 7-8 years if you stick to OG console.$400 PS5 regular
$700 PS6
$1100 total over 8 years.
You do indeed save a few bucks there over a much longer time.
On the Pro you mean? Considering if a game I want to play looks like ass on console I simply wouldn't be playing it on console, I'd say zero chances.
I would prefer to, as I like to buy physical and I have no means to connect the PC to the Home Theatre without massive headaches and changes, but still.
So far these are the games I've played on the console and they all satisfied me with 4K and RT at 60fps, TLOU aside but just because that game has no RT at all. All gameplay screenshots from 60fps Modes, no Photo-Mode:
And I know RE4 screenshots are ruined by CA and Lens Distortion and Motion Blur and DoF, but that's how I like it motion as the raw native 4K presentation when turning all off is too gamey for me in comparison.
Also tried Forbidden West for a few minutes, looking absolutely stunning at 60fps. As soon as I'm completely done with RE4R I want to give a chance to Ragnarok DLC after the praise I've read to its IQ, and the game is also supposedly visually better than PC version to begin with.
Sure that are an handful of stinkers like AW2, but luckily I've never enjoyed a Remedy game since Max Payne 2. The little kind of exception would be the first Alan Wake, maybe as I've revisited this year and it's really not a good game imo and it's been a pain to go through, and the game ran at 544p on Xbox 360 with texture resolution worthy of PS2 and ended up looking a whole generation behind stuff we've seen later on running on the same machines. Remedy's reputation on PC never applied to consoles.
But please do continue with your campaign against this console as it's always amusing and entertaining.
Good thing the 5070 will be a reasonable purchase that will work for a decade.
FTFYOnly way to avoid this nonsense is spending a whole lot more money.
There will be more games in the future with low resolutions on pro and even lower resolution on standard consoles. Developers pushing new tech will do it at the cost of image quality. NOW you have games with 900p, 800p, 720p and even below on 16TF console. Only way to avoid this nonsense is getting pc.
Haha I thought the same thing. Looks like it could be a screenshot from Chrono Cross or something. The one on the left reminds me of the PSX.
FTFY
You're gonna have to do that too on PC if you don't pony up for a good card.
Wow. You actually did a treble in this post. Three retarded takes in one post.Pathetic if you buy this even with the disposable income you should have a long hard think about whether the money would be better invested in a PS5 pro.
What NVIDIA bullshit marketing features will this have? Fake frames? More fake frames? Fake colors?
Which makes the whole $700 trolling for a complete system that is bridging a gap in IQ, all the more clownish. No one said otherwise.
But that doesn't mean you have to buy 2k 5090. There are always GPUs that present very good performance while costing reasonable amounts of money.
if you like the improved image quality of the ps5pro, you should see these games on pc[8 million ps5pro screenshots]

We have come full circle. Honk honk!
RTX40 Super cards already uses the 12V-2x6 power connector.with all the bad press around the 12 pin, I am surprised it took this long and wasn't already done with the RTX40 Super revisions.
i dont need to hear his life's storyHe games on PC.

Not really, I don't recall buying a single current gen game on Steam. Last time I've upgraded is in the previous gen. Waiting for the right game, or proper Cyberpunk path tracing performance and IQ.He games on PC.
These games?
PC Native 4K:
PS5 Pro Performance:
Native 4K DLAA:
4K DLSSQ (1440p internal):
PS5 Pro PSSR (1440p internal):
1:1 PSSR
1:1 PSSR
Resident Evil 4 is native 4K on Pro..
Shamelessly lying like this doesn't really send a good message.

So according to this: https://videocardz.com/newz/geforce...in-q1-rtx-5070-expected-to-feature-6400-cores
The 5090 has...
2x the CUDA cores
2x the memory
75% more memory bandwidth
50% more power consumption
than the 5080.
heh sorry, my joke didnt really work via text i guess.
somedays i wish i were this retardedShamelessly lying [that the ps5pro is as good as the best PC] doesn't really send a good message.
We've been down that road. It was all trash parts. You can make pc better than pro for 970 Euro, you won't have to drop resolutions as much and quality will always be better thanks to dlss. I'm talking 5600, 4070.
Value of pro outside us is quite poor, for 800 Euro you don't get a lot of performance uplift.
