Jeez, I legitimately wanted this film to get some rave reviews. I'll still give the film a watch, but I have low expectations, always had after watching Man of Steel; I managed to get a movie certificate from the Dr. Pepper promo. Even with the reviews, I still see the film doing well on the box office. Honestly at first I outright disliked MoS but at least better than Superman Returns, but after a few more watches I considered it pretty okay at best.
Warner Bros. should have really established the DCEU's individual characters first before jumping into doing a crossover film. I really feel they are too obsessed with catching up to Marvel.
Nope. I enjoyed the film after a few watches, though I still considered it a pretty disappointing film albeit still watchable (can't say the same for Thor: TDW though; villain was just bland, too much Natalie Portman and not enough Jamie Alexander. At least Tom Hiddleston's performance as Loki was enjoyable, I'll give it that). Though personally, Ant-Man was the better Marvel film for me in 2015.
