It's Warner Bros. They gave the Wachowskis like 4 chances.
The main reason they let him take the reigns is because he's the only one who would.
Tickets were already confirmed for friday, and I'm still curious to see how big of a trainwreck this is. Can't wait to see a) how much they screw up the Bat/Supes characters and b) the big action scenes. I've already set my expectations to 'disaster', so anything above that is a bonus

Man, Zack Snyder really is horrible. I really hope DC gets the message that Superman isn't the problem, it's Snyder's terrible ideas. The part about the horses, what the hell is that?

Unfortunately. I never liked how Warners Bros' has treated Looney Tunes and DC comics these recent years.

I'm just being cautious - saw this mentioned in a couple of reviews earlier and I didn't know if it was common knowledge. Especially coming off the back of the Nolan films where he makes a concerted effort not to.
It's not out until May, is it? By which time BvS's run will be more or less done with.
Because it's taken out of context in the reviews and myself and other posts here who have already seen the movie at least once know that's it's a bunch of misleading bullshit?

That's pretty fucking low, if that's the case.
Marvel has had sub-par movies and for me Avengers 1 and 2 were disappointing in different ways, but I didn't make a fuss about it, and certainly wasn't complaining before the Film's release. Are we at a point where Batman is tainted? No, George Lucas couldn't kill Star Wars with the prequels, RLM might be the Savior of DC if Plinkett does an autopsy of BvS if the film is indeed prequel levels bad. Maybe this is the end of Frank Miller's past work being used as a crutch for new movie plots.

It'll be interesting to see the audience response vs critic response.
Most impressions I had read before the critics atleast said it was better than MoS, but top critics find the cgi and buildup toward justice league a big negative, enough to outweight the dialogue and pacing issues in MoS.
I don't really buy this is worse than the star wars prequels or Batman Forever.

The entire movie is revolved around Superman being a hero and figuring out how to be the best hero he can be.

I expected this and said looks dumb. Wonder woman casting and batman casting was first wrong start.
Confirmation bias is a crazy thing especially when even the most scathing reviews agree that both castings were good
