Last nights first date with the Romanian girl was interesting to say the least.

I could tell from the get go that she was DTF, so it wasn't long after making out that I suggested going back to hers.

I honestly feel pretty bad considering I'm seeing the Kiwi again tomorrow night (I've been seeing her for 2 months), but we never discussed where we're going so maybe I shouldn't? She's going back home in August anyway.

The Romanian girl also gave me two love bites, so I'm trying to work out how the fuck to minimise them before tomorrow's date...

Am I a cunt? I never thought I'd imagine myself in this sort of situation.

You're not a cunt. This can get normal as a guy gets older and people get used to dating more widely.

Sex or not, it gets annoying to plan dates and initial meetups with multiple women in the same week. I get why it is good and kind of necessary, and I do it, but it's hard when I have a bunch of other scheduled activities and events throughout my week.

Place called Northside Social Cafe near the Clarendon Metro station, it was a cool indoor/outdoor place that did a little bit of everything (coffee, tea, beer, wine, pastries), so you had a lot of options to suit your tastes, which is key to me since i'm not a big fan of coffee. Had a public parking lot right behind it too.

You could actually help by swapping me a good "tea and light fare" place in the district, which i've been blanking on. I know enough bars to get by, but something lighter for a non-drinking first date is helpful too.

I've actually been there! The second floor - dimly lit wine bar portion - is on point. I used that place as a pit stop when I was dating a girl who lived in Falls Church. Okay, as far as the D.C. scene...

I don't really know teahouses, but as far as non-drinking first dates, I've struck gold several times at Kramerbooks. Great ambiance, and you can either just browse the shelves, head to the bar/cafe area for coffee, or sneak into the restaurant portion. The food's pretty damn good, too. And it's right near the DuPont Circle metro station.

Baked & Wired (in Georgetown, bleh, but it's near the waterfront, so that's good) and its sister shop A Baked Joint (near me, in Chinatown) are spacious and have a great coffee and food selection (think: smoked salmon on baguettes).

Busboys & Poets (two locations) is brilliantly subversive and socially conscious, though the service is pretty terrible. But the ambiance is worth it, and the food's good.

Honestly, I found this while browsing: https://dc.eater.com/maps/best-coffee-shops-in-dc.

I think it's solid. I'd definitely put Kramerbooks at the top though.

I work in IT.

Just found out one of my dates is loaded, like her car alone is twice worth my mortgage.

Second date is booked, she's nice, and I've been around more rich people, but I got to say it's not like it doesn't affect me at all.

It's fun dating rich girls. They invite you over and you get to hang out on their pimp-ass balconies and sleep in their fancy four poster beds with silk sheets.

I wish I could afford sheets.

Egyptian silk sheets are legit. I was fortunate to get one on the cheap from John Lewis, best sheet I own.

Maybe I should splash out. What if I get too used to the opulence though? I have trouble enough going down from my cotton sheets to polyester or similar low quality sheets.

Once you go Egyptian silk you never go back?

Didn't realize there were so many lawyers in DatingGaF. Peltz, AD, ZackieChan. Am I missing anyone?

Currently working in mechanical retail, like selling and sourcing parts for cars, boats, trucks etc. It's far from being something that I'm passionate about.

I'm studying legal services atm, but I'm planning on applying for my state police service and having my state pay for the rest of my degree in 2-3 years to serve as a police prosecutor. Still, if later on I want to transition into other aspects of law, prosecutors can generally become pretty solid criminal defence lawyers if they work hard and study thoroughly, which I generally do...
Currently top of my class, not that it's a particularly hard achievement considering 50% of them are chucklefucks who are happy with barely passing.

I was thinking... isn't it presumptuous to assume that just because we are at a hotel, she wants the d? Should I really bring condoms?

We've only been to second base.

Better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it. Bring the condoms.

How do you tell someone that you had fun spending time with them and getting to know them, but you don't see things progressing anywhere further? (Yes, I fully realize that I could use those exact words, but I'm wondering if y'all had some stock phrases that were slightly more diplomatic.)

I like this girl well enough: she's cute, smart, and we have common interests. But I'm seeing another person (possibly) for the third time in less than a week (I know) tomorrow, plus the girl from the club from last Sunday too... I hate keeping someone on what effectively amounts to the back burner. I mean, she's a lovely person, and I realize I should prioritize everyone equally, though I'm failing hard at that.

I realize everyone's situation is different, so I don't necessarily have a question. I know the only rule is to be honest with everyone, and it's fair enough to say that I'm seeing where things go all around. But this really is the hardest part. How do you all handle it?

Standing by for my date. I'm at the bar already with a beer. This bar has too many ales and IPAs which is not my cup tea at least it's small. I have to work in the morning. =/

You know how, in JRPGs, there's usually a scene at the end where everyone sends their heartfelt wishes to the main character? Like this:

That's basically us, right now, praying for Megalosaro's penis.

See the Discord chat. It was at Off The Grid. I normally don't pay for dates but the bartender charged both her drinks and mines to my card. I was dumbfounded but I begrudgingly took care of it even though she offered to take out cash. Never again because I'm going back to splitting the bill.

I'll meet up with her again because she was very chill. Normally I'm dismissive about these types of chicks but I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt because it's not my future wife. I told her that I had work the next day and she said that her cousin was coming by her place so it was a lose-lose situation. She looked much better in person than her pics.

I also got some other girl's number from OKC after I gave her my number and suggested meeting up next week.
