For a long time I've wondered why I didn't really feel drawn to sex. Sure, it's fun. But so is eating cookies and playing piano. To me, sex is just a thing. I wouldn't mind not having sex ever again. Thus, when I'm with someone, I rarely have sex with them. I was dating someone at the beginning of the year and after 3 months he started being impatient. He told me he didn't fee like I loved him, because we didn't try anything yet. The relationship I was in before that lasted a year and a half and I had sex about every 1 or 2 months.

I can fall in love though. I can love someone with all my heart, and I can want to spend my whole life with that person. However, sex is something else.

Would you guys ever date someone like that? Should I try to have sex more often even if I don't really feel like it?

Yes, asexuals can date. It has its own set of problems but provided you're honest with your partner, it'll be fine.

I personally go the open relationship route for that reason.

Rich girl is messaging me again like every day, but nothing of substance and she's booked her weekend full like always.

Giving up very soon on her. The Instagram girl is coming over to my place tonight, we'll play some Resident Evil 7 or Until Dawn (she loves horror) and watch movies.

She rides a bicycle instead of Porsche and lives pretty frugally, but I think I'm actually more comfortable with that.
I'm ambitious myself and doing ok with work/business, but I don't want my partner to be a "performance focused" super busy person, just someone normal who I can spend time with.

That's why I dropped all effort long time ago on my end and I'm focusing on the girl who can actually make time.
She (rich girl) initiates contact every time and I reply when I bother, sometimes I don't.

I think it's pretty obvious that's a troll thread now. Posted later that he "listened to only the good advice to ask her out", so he wasn't actually listening to anyone, just wanted some people to affirm his stance. At this point I think the whole thing is a troll thread. And yeah the weird creepy way he talks about women like they're children to be corrected is creeeeeeeeeeepy

So I went out on like a 5th date and things are finally starting to get serious as we both constantly pursue each other and our chemistry is off the charts. Then suddenly she drops a bomb on me telling me how she was thinking about what I said the other days of my expectations in a partner stating that she couldn't meet them and was afraid of being one to waste my time. Then she explained that she had just quit her job because she is going to be traveling for the next 6 months to a year with even the possibility of her moving to another city. It really caught me by surprise and I was at a loss for words but of course I told her that I am excited for her. We continued to have a great evening despite that but I am a little crushed inside. It is still early but I forgot the sting that dating causes sometimes.

Went out day with the tattooed vegan girl I went out with last Sunday. We were going to go kayaking but she texted me in the morning she was really tired and didn't feel up for it, which I was worried was a sign she was flaking but we ended up going to the beach instead. It was a good time and we went back to my place and watch Kill Bill and made out a bit. Tried to see how far things could go but she too tired for sex. It was a good 7 hour date and I'm starting to like her quite a bit. But her schedule is super busy and I'm not sure exactly when we will be able to schedule a third date which is a bit annoying and concerning. Really want to continue going out with this girl which is nice because I've had so many dud dates lately.

Also congrats Mega!!!

Yeah, the first red flag in all that was in the OP when he said "they've been together 3 months", which is a weird as fuck thing to say about friends lol

What was news to me was how misogynistic the term "Friendzone" apparently is. I took it to mean anytime you wanna date someone, and they "just think of you as a friend".

Okay so I went out to the bar last night. Pretty fun time, chatted up some hot Cuban stripper (obviously a stripper because the guy in her group gave me and my friend some free passes)
While waiting in line outside to get in. Once inside I already had my eye on this one girl.
Wasn't really sure what to say to start the conversation but I just knew I had to talk to her. Well the chance opened up with her asking someone about a drink. She got a brief answer so I jumped in and started talking to her some. Anyway, in the end I didn't get her number because....

Would it be better to just say "I hope I can see you again" (to see if she offers her # )

Or just straight up ask for the #? Which imo comes off pushy especially when not much time was shared.

I love summer. Motivation is at its high for working out, got some equipment at the house and I've been working and eating clean most of the week (I'm not a small guy and my weight is an issue). Helps with confidence, even if pulling power still isn't too great.

And it went super great. Tbh, this was a non-issue because she already knew and the reason she brought smoking up a lot was to show me it's okay if I smoke sometimes. She got super happy when I told her I'm gonna quit though. And I'm really gonna quit.

Thanks Peltz and everyone else who responded. Wish me luck on this new relationship. I have really high hopes for it.

Unfortunately redpill tainted that term a bit. It gives the implication that men and women can't be friends, and that you're only nice to someone to get into their pants. An extension of the Nice Guy BS, essentially.

I believe that most people using the phrase probably don't get that implication, but better to educate about it then letting people be salty about a failed romance attempt, I guess?

I dunno that guy's situation was just weird as fuck.
