I usually either hang out with my friends in the city or storm someone's house, but those plans aren't really exciting either - we usually joke about being a group of elderly friends already ( despite being 23!).

I feel normal enough, tbh. Probably to the extent of being a detriment because I'm fairly reserved and play stuff too safe when I'm out with friends or at bars/clubs/wherever. Slowly getting better though, it's just a self-confidence thing really.

I'd recommend online dating. Go on a bunch of dates and learn how to talk to women in a date like setting. You'll likely make many mistakes as all of us do, just make sure you learn from them.

My stories are usually crazy because its I attract crazies. Probably because I am myself. A bit at least.
I end up dating girls because we had fun together and do it again. Then it just turns into something.
Naturally I am very shy and quiet. But I do like to have fun. Unfortunately it takes me to at least have a few pints to open up a bit and start being talkative.
Like last night for instance. A friend and I met these 2 girls for wing night. They were both absolutely gorgeous. He set this one up. I sat there and didnt say a word for like 30 min. Then I got a few pints deep and started talking to the one. Before you know it we were both laughing up a storm and I'm all animated telling stories and stuff. It went really well. Without the beer I probably would have just sat there and let everyone else talk. I like booze. Out of my league for sure though. We will probably hang out with them again but I have no hopes of anything happening there.

Not really no. I mean, once I get to know somebody and am comfortable around them, I can do just fine. I was sober for at least 6 years with my last long term girlfriend. Well minus the odd time we would have drinks at home together.
I've never actually met a girl when I was sober that I ended up dating except for a few on Tinder. And even then our first dates consisted of having drinks somewhere.
Which is maybe why I like this girl I have a dates with tinder profile that kust said "feed me beer" Im like "i can do this"
Sober me is very very quiet and shy. A girl would talk to me and I would just smile and blush and fumble my words.
And its not like I have to be drunk. Just a few beer is enough to take the edge off.

I was raised pretty strongly that my 1st time should be special and some kind of love should be there. That kind of thinking has affected me ever since I was a teen. Really affecting how I used to think about dating.

I lost my virginity to a girl I loved. I ended up being with her for a long time and we actually got engaged. Its just the act of the sex for the first time itself wasnt really that special. It was the bond between us.
That went to hell and I became kind of a slut and sex is pretty meaningless for me now outside of just having fun.
But in this day and age, if you wait for "the right one" to have sex with, you might be waiting a long ass time. Just dont be scurred. If the oppertunity arises, go for it. Its not a bad idea to at least like the person first.
