NRS hotfixed Injustice today to fix a glitch involving Batgirl's bola and to make post pushblock setups do 0% because Sinestro players found out they could get a free combo off pushblock. Pretty cool when everyone says they had stopped supporting the game.

Do you need to be online for hotfixes to work?

I feel the same way. Spacies make me less accurate on movement and I tend to autopilot with them.
Marth is fun on utilizing space really well and getting those really good reads to get things going.

Yeah, I notice that the characters I love most (that I stick with) usually have good/great movement options and allow me to play based on reads over raw technicality. On that note, Pit is the reason why I main P:M over Melee. He's a great compliment to Marth because he relies on a lot of the same ideas. The hardest things I had to learn with Pit were glide cancels since arrow usage and looping I got used to playing vBrawl.

I'm picking up Fox in order to have a third and out of pure love for the character's style and the Star Fox franchise though. :p

Not sure who "everyone" is as most people here agree that Injustice is one of the best developer supported games out there.

'hotfixes' usually just means it doesn't require the main game executable to get re-compiled for the change to work. (those are--well, were the big $$ patches)

So some data or scripting file that's being read from when the game runs is likely what was changed instead.

I'd say most frequently supported instead of best TBH, at least in the genre.

Well, there was weird shit in MK9, that's why I was asking. I think they referred to those as hotfixes too.

I bet this hotfix never makes it to the Vita, PS4, or PC versions.

EDIT: Didn't make it to PC; awesome support, guys.

It's totally possible that only some modes read from the (updated) scripts/files for online play. I think Blazblue did/does that in a few cases too.

I hadn't thought about the above earlier, so I guess this isn't really a helpful answer, lol.

Funnily
sadly
enough, I have an absurd amount of Brawl playtime racked up.
Approximately 1492 hours.
Back when it first came out, I was convinced the game was better than it was. That and Smash was always a series I could pour stupid amounts of time into via training mode and casual matches.

It's also because online Brawl kinda stagnated that I moved towards traditional fighters and because of the Project M mod group + Melee's second coming (lots of new exposure and tournament footage) that I moved back towards Smash.

1492 hours?
damn son
where's sixfortyfive to post his challenge board with the "play 100 hours" square being the only one left

I messed with the timing to see what might cause the 2H to whiff.

After the wallbounce, I did 2P as soon as I could which made the 2H whiff. So delay 2P when they're closer to the ground if that's your problem.

Finally just got this to work...

I had the jab sequences backwards (was doing one jab after the throw and two after wall bounce instead of vice versa).

It only does 100 damage which is less than the standard, easier BnB (111) >:/

Why would I do this combo?

Thanks for the help though.

Your body isn't ready... yet. You must fully embrace the anime. By this time next year you'll be talking about your pink bentos and your waifus and everything moo hah hah hah.

Besides, if you're a SF player, Aquapazza would be more your speed. :p

Aquapazza I'm assuming has loli's in a swimsuit/cat suit right? I'll look into a plethora of anime fighters. I'll probably regret doing so after I look up exclusive japanese titles... desu~

Who are you interested in? And also, It helps having fighting game fundamentals, but learning neutral in ASW games is a little weird lol you'll pick it up fast as long as you make sure you focus on the right things and don't get carried away.

Side note: If you're interested in finding a local scene too lemme know. I really get around.

I don't know anything about BBCP so I'll just buy it since I'm really interested in it and try out characters. I know for GG +R, its either Potemkin or Eddie. I know the latter is brain dead... But that's what I specialize in!

Cain so scary doe

e-thugs in action

Yo, you be draggin in new waifus every week bro. Lend me some. Also, E-thug is the way of life man, smack talk someone on the internet.

It's actually higher now since Project M time counts towards the total time played but most of that is just letting the game idle so I can jump right in when I feel like it or get some Off TV training mode in.

Eddie is far from brain dead. He's brain dead once you make somebody block, but there are lots of weird intricacies and neutral is on a per MU basis so good luck. Potemkin is probably the most fun grappler of all time though so knock yourself out. As far as BBCP goes, watch some match videos, look at characters, and so on. And please if you're curious about anything, ask. Even if it's something really stupid, ask.

Also, if you really are wanting to get into anime remember there's a lot more than ASW around. Like, even though a lot of games are "anime", most people only get exposure to the big three ASW titles, and even then they miss out on the huge differences in how each game plays. Check out everything and figure out what types of games you like.

Depends. I'm not sure which one the standard one is. As long as the other one has a safe jump, I'd just stuck with that one.
Ain is a pretty flashy Ky, so not all of his stuff might be optimal.

Did anyone ever capture/upload the money match between Cloud805 and Filipino Champ from SCR?
Yes.

What does the glowing X mean?
It's the X Factor... the most powerful powerup in fighting game history.

You get only one activation per match. It gives you particular boosts (Damage, speed), immunity to chip damage and the duration/potency increases depending upon how many characters are dead (one character remaining gets the most boosts). You can use it anytime (as long as you are not getting hit), air or on the ground and even during block.

It can't be stressed enough how powerful this mechanic is.

I'll explain, the game is 3 v 3 of dream teams as mentioned by Dahbomb. The X is called X-factor and it acts as a power booster for your combos pretty much. However, use it wisely because you can only use it once and with each character you lose, the stronger it gets.

After watching SCR and the plethora of clean/neutral heavy and respectful matches...

This is like Twitch plays Marvel in comparison.

Man, we worked so hard to get GG respected enough for people to just call it what it is: Guilty Gear. Then BlazBlue happened, and we've been dragged back beneath the anime label.

GUYS, THE GIFS ARE READY!

Thanks to the Miniboss for giving me an idea to work with!

Note: Very small render issue with one of the gifs, I could fix it, but I made a ton of fuckings gifs today, so that is enough for me for now!
