Anyway, I've already said before that I bought the game because it looks like it will be good, not for agendas or anything else. I don't even consider woke agendas when buying any video game. Personally I like to pretend all that woke stuff doesn't exist, even when it's being shoved in my face. I just sigh, roll my eyes and move on, not fly into rages over it.

If it makes you feel better, many of the previews, including the likes of IGN, actually said the combat was one of the best parts of the game they played. It’s more aligned with a combo fighter mixed in with Dark Souls. I would wait until you get actual opinions on Monday before making your decision.
There is both an easy mode and a story mode difficulty so you can just enjoy the world and story

Not lot's of refunds, I can see a forspoken situation where it sells really well out the gate but depending on the quality will have legs or not. Harry Potter isn't an automatic success. Smaller IP than Avengers and that failed due to quality. Lets see the out the gates reviews.

I think the sales will be huge and as a gay guy with multiple disabilities and many REAL trans friends I've know from decades I have to say I'm team TURF. Most of my transexual friends are to be Frank, the blue haired freaks have done a disservice to all the progress made by the real trans community for acceptance that they fought for And had to fight hard, but then again my friends look like women, not men in dresses, anyway should probably shut up low before I'm banned here

There was a thread where a surprising amount of people were saying that they were going to buy it but it was shut down by a mod because of some bullshit reason because it seems they didn't like how many people were bringing up Hogwarts lol

Sure. One of the most popular IP in history, with book sales that are only behind the bible (literally, its the best selling series of all time) is just shitty isekai (and anyone using that word is much stranger than the people excited about a game) for 11 year old girls.

The fact is the game looks really good, and the HP fandom eclipses those of Spider-Man, Bethesda, God of War or any other franchise most can name. Fantastic Beasts failed because they were awful, and the last one released mid pandemic.
If this game is good, not great just good, it will sell 10m in the first week. I wouldn’t be surprised if pre-sales are enough for them to internally green light part 2.

One has to wonder if the Era buyout was a money laundering scheme. Owning an alleged video game forum and allowing the moderation to ban any discussion about one of the most anticipated games of the year that belongs to one of the biggest IPs of the 21st century, makes less commercial sense than anything I can think of.
I just hope the game is good. I won’t be there at full price, but if it’s good, I may get it later.

My cousin is transgender, so I know some of the things these people have to deal with. It's sad that a lot of people will never accept them, I think we should be accepting of people and not be hateful.
That being said this same cousin is buying Hogwarts, doesn't believe trans athletes should be able to compete as there are clear differences still, and also says resetera is nuts when I shared the Harry Potter thread.
