How was the performance on Ps5 pro?
60fps is very stable, but so far footage only from first map is available. Although apparently it is stable even in villages so hopefully no STALKER 2 shitshow..
There is no footage with Czech dub ? (which everyone should play on)
I am Czech and will play in english the first time, I want to enjoy original performances and love Luke Dale and Tom McKay's voices.
I will replay both games in Czech in few years.

older video that compiled several sources with the czech VO

Yep, that was the surprising part and we are two months from release. Mind you, this is early part of the game so no guarantees there wouldn’t be bugs in later portions since it’s a large game. Still, it’s a very good sign.
The developer sent out review codes an entire month before release, which is unheard of. I doubt they would do that unless the performance was rock solid throughout

Interesting. I love games about knights and chivalry. I will check it out. Thank you.

I didnt call the entire game trash. Read the comments, my man. As I said, it's a 7-ish game. I just thought the combat was garb and without archery, I would've gone insane.
I know you complain about the combat specifically in every KCD thread, that is what I meant (didn't mention the word combat in my post eventhough I thought I did). I disagree that it is bad even if in the first game there are aspects I dislike about it (specifically too unwieldy lock-on).

I'm retarded?

Ok gotcha. I love you.

I tried the first one but I wasn’t feeling the whole simulation aspect to it. If it received some QoL upgrades then I wouldn’t mind it. It felt like a slower Skyrim without the high end fantasy stuff.

Few shots from reddit (PC version on ultra preset, although max preset is "experimental" which is not recommended for anything slower than 4090)

So it is not ok when we laugh at Concord cause poor devs and their families. But it is ok to do it when the game director is a chud, fuck all them other devs. One of the main reasons I cant stand leftists, such hypocrites.

(they talk about Daniel Vavra the KH2 Game Director)
Double standard is the characteristic I despise most from the self-contradictory leftists.

I will never understand people boycotting games over individual views a developer. Especially in the context of being hypocritical about everything else they consume.

The electronics we use or the clothes we wear are very likely made by people(sometimes children) working In incredible inhumane conditions making absolute shit wages or even under modern day slavery. But in these people's views, I'm supposed to get up in arms because some developer has political views they disagree with?

I don't even consider myself caring too much about DEI in video games. But when it comes to historic immersive sims, like KCD, these people can go fuck themselves. It's white washing history by not trying to be as accurate as possible.

And it's hilarious that these people call certain groups of people fascists when that website literally bans the discussion of the Harry Potter game. Such a crazy ass bubble they live in

Best off just completely ignoring those cunts, starving them of the attention they crave.

On topic this looks awesome. Hyped.

You love to see it! Hopefully the game will have great sales in first week and good reviews, leading to more hype and word of mouth.
Any guesses as to the steam peak CCU and first month sales?
I predict 300-350K and 3 million. And opening of the new salt mines in the asylum.

I have no idea honestly. The previews are great, the game looks good, but it’s an older style game set in a medieval period with no magic and it tries to stay accurate to that period.

So I think that this limits the audience, although at same time it absolutely makes the game amazing for those of us who line the genre.

Hmm… I would say 200-250K concurrent but the game should have longer sustained sales due to word of mouth. So hopefully those 3 mil sold in the first month.

The most hilarious part for me is how absolutely FURIOUS they become as soon as they start noticing that a lot of users simply don't take their bait and keep hyping the game, ignoring their attempts to stir "controversy".
tbh when I posted there (years ago), KCD threads were great ignore list clear-ups - every one of these asylees just got added (I think I was at about 70) and the threads were perfectly friendly and cordial without their presence. Would not surprise me if most of the people who ignore the asylees just did the same and never even saw the baits in the first place. They can keep impotently screeching into the void, it is hilarious.
That seems alot. That is what starfield did and that game was huge (at launch). I think about 200k would be a big success.
Starfield was on gamepass day 1 - I think if it was not there, it would go for 500-600K, the hype was pretty huge.
Right now, Wilds is number 9 on global bestseller list, Civ7 is 10, KCD2 is 12, FF7 Rebirth is 15, TLOU2 is 70, Avowed is, ehm, 484 and AC Shadows is nowhere because it cannot even be preordered.

Ok so this game was not on my radar like at all. Love it when a decent looking game sneaks up on you
Just wrapped up the ending of my second playthrough of Kingdom Come 1. I watched a few of these previews, and it sounds exactly like what I want in the sequel: polish and refinement.

I think I'll not pre-order, but I'll be watching Steam reviews day-of-release, and if there aren't any huge bugs or optimization issues, I'm gonna jump on this ASAP.
Yup zero point preordering, but the previews are glowing. Unless things are a disaster in the late game ill be purchasing day one.

Little snippets and listening (not watching) yo bits, I'm very excited about this one

It's not some cautious optimism. It feels like this game will be richer, deeper, more immersive, fun, and rewarding in every way.

Love hearing people cover this waking up to how alive and organic the world is. And the quests can be so diverse and surprising.

Kinda like that one in the first game where you have to pretend to be a priest because the local one had an all night bender lol
