Got a time to sit and see the previews, and I have to say the game is shaping up to be a huge hit this time. I've heard the experience for KCD2 is much better, as I remember KCD being a buggy mess when it came back in 2018, one of the reasons I never got it on release.
I like how they improved combat by steamlining it, made alchemy more intuitive, added smithing (which was a crime not having in the first game given Henry's origins), and made the whole world more interactable with more NPC reactions and such. If anything, more games, especially RPGs, should strive for the mechanical depth that KCD2 seems to have.
