However, the game is banned in saudi, it was on the Xbox Saudi page a few days ago, but I cannot find it today. So the ban has definitely been implemented on it now.

Sucks for people living there looking forward to it, now the only choice they have is international import. (Or vpn)

As you said getting around the ban itself isn't actually difficult. The ban was more symbolic and was done as a matter of principal I think. I'm sure the Saudi gov know about that.

This is not how bans work in Saudi. Take P3R for example; it is banned in the region and unavailable for purchase anywhere.

My point is that this game, however, is available for purchase in the official regional stores on Steam and Epic Games. Therefore, it is not banned.
