I've only played 'A Woman's Lot' DLC and I thought it was really good. Gives you a different perspective of the start of the game. Is it necessary though? I wouldn't have thought so.

But if GTA6 releases this year on consoles.....than all games just battle for the runner up place I guess.
And I am pretty sure there will be also some more "critical" reviews coming up which are focusing on the stuff which really counts in gaming...far left nonsense ideology!

Thought GTA, but I don't see that coming out this year.
This looks great I can see it being up there. A full month for reviewers to play the game and glowing previews all round? All signs are pointing to greatness right now.

I think people thought the same about BG3. It could be some breakout hit....but yeah lets see. I am pretty sure they will make their investment back easily. It looks damn good.

I am buying this day 1. But it seems to be getting favourable repo from Youtubers on stuff that was done 10 yrs ago by other games.
Always a sign game will be praised a lot, nothing will be spared, a la Baldurs Gate 3.
Does that convert into GOTY awards remains to be seen.

Only that tangent he goes on about the save system is nonsensical, it's like he overlooked the possibility to save normally via schnapps.
Save and exit is really not meant for regular saving ffs.

Yeah, the developers obviously believe the correct way to play the game is by saving when automated or through schnapps. It's as if Skillup can't help himself but spam save because its an option, even though it's not in the spirit of the game
It's like people who play BG3 and constantly save before rolling dice, so they can get their desired outcome. It is not it's intended purpose. It will just make the majority of players enjoyment worse. KCD is all about the choices you make and the risks that come with it

It will blow stuff out of the water like Astrobot did last year. Reviewers and games media have a nostalgic hard on for platformers or old IP like Metroid. They are fun games, but are not revolutionary in the least
a game like Doom the Dark Ages will be better than Metroid on every level, but somehow review worse because its on Nintendo

Why the save and exit is not meant to be used regularly? I used it and never had an issue. I hope this is also included in KC2.

Elden Ring, BG3 and, TLOU2 are all revolutionary
A game like Mario Oddysey would review 5 points lower on metacritic and sell 10x less if wasn't a Mario IP

Odyssey isn't a top Mario either in my eyes. 3, world, 64 and Galaxy 2 would get my vote.

Exactly the same as BOTW.
Unlike Astrobot Rescue Mission, which brought a whole new dimension to platformers. Strange never seen it mentioned as one of the best in history, I wonder why.
