Hate to say it... I kinda see where they going with this game...
Just saw that w/ the swapping and double-usage on screen. No, you can use it whenever you have it.
Dormammu + Hawkeye + Reality Stone with active switching lololololol

Sounds like from what Combofiend just said that getting a character KO'd gives a mass increase to your meter charge.
Interesting, you get a free wallbounce if you active switch from air-to-ground and the active switch attack connects.
They're probably just turned off as they usually are by default.
I'm so glad we have both games.LMAO that's DBZ's comeback mechanic too...
The mechanics of this game were never in doubt.

Yeah this is just PR lip service bull shit talking down 3v3.Combofiend talking about accessibility. LOL!! 3v3 isn't that fucking complicated.

True. I've never doubted the mechanics, and yet I feel there was so much love put into it that we all for the first time are starting to understand. This is why i said "I hate to say it"... but we kinda all misunderstood them at this point, but now got a great view of its beauty. This stream was needed.
Combofiend was referencing MvC2, not 3. Cause in 3 the assists were not unplayable characters for the most part.I don't remember him saying that? He was saying how some characters just became meat shields or reliant on asissts and not actual characters.
I think they've done a pretty damn good job of justifying the return to 2v2 TBH.
The assist character thing is inevitable and only further stratifies top tier characters into more relatively powerful teams of three (versus teams of two).
This stream is selling me a lot on the game. I'll never not be a bit disappointed with its base roster but... this game is gonna be crazy interesting to play and watch. It seems like it's a bit more mechanically interesting and well thought out than mvc3
I wouldn't say that. There are still problems with this game with the presentation and roster (DLC plans go with that roster problem). The gameplay just looks great and fun.

I think Combo's point is that with 3 characters one inevitably becomes the odd one out and is there to support your preferable point character. Even in Marvel 3 that was the case for the most part outside of x/Vergil/Doom teams, which creates a better case for an optimal team vs. more viable teams because you can concentrate more of the best characters onto a single team.Combofiend was referencing MvC2, not 3. cant you just set up a low and tag in an overhead?
i don't even see this selling as well as MVC3.
He also made it clear that their goal was to lower barrier to entry, not a skills gap. (Marvel always had a buffer that SF did not.)In that little thing he was saying how it is simpler to have 2v2 and a stone than 3v3 and that it would be easier for people to jump in. That most certainly accessibility.
Anyone else think the brand new characters look way better than the ones imported from mvc3?
2.2 for Marvel 3, 1.2 for UMVC3.I'm curious about MVC3 and UMVC3' sales? did anyone have the information ready here?
Nah it's really just the Marvel side.Anyone else think the brand new characters look way better than the ones imported from mvc3?
Captain Marvel "Storm-lite"
Ultron "Fast flys like Sentinel"
Nova "Magneto-like"

Edited: I think it might sell more than some people expected it to be since it have MCU appeals so kids probably want to pick it up.
