Sure but it still gatekeeps you from your games. It's a glorified DRM system. Why do we need a client software? Why can't steam be just an online store which fucks off after I have bought the game? Why do we need a launcher at all? Why can't I just download the game, install it and then run it. I like the model of GoG more, which is also a digital-only store but at least it fucks off after I have bought the game. They give me install files and that's it. I can even keep those files so that I never have to bother with the store again, if I so choose. I want my games decoupled from any service/store but I know I am in the minority. I know that everyone trusts Valve and Steam but that's something I can't really understand and probably never will.

That’s too easy, I want official emulation of all Sega’s consoles. Already doable through RetroArch so they can always go all in and hire the emulator teams and stop looking the other way on that.

i think sega is a very creative company, similar to nintendo. They will finally get the funding and backing they need to make great past, and new original titles with this acquisition. No more micromanaging and budget constraints (im assuming this)
