I don’t understand why Muslims are sucked up to.
You can’t even work in mekka without changing to Muslim.
But they will not change a single thing about themselves when in Europe. Only demand that things change
Isn't it because it's basically forbidden from release there? So it's not like they have much of a choice.

The game was not released there, was it?
A much weirder case is Japan getting Relayer instead of TMNT for some reason.

They dont seem fond of yasuke.
A game about 4 green guidos who constantly shove pizza in their face whilst claiming to be ninjas? Something something honor and shame.

Exactly. It’s not even on sale there.
Everything to not offend poor Muslims
Countries with different cultural or societal values may choose not to offer games like Dragon Age: Valugard due to its themes. These decisions aren’t about 'offending Muslims'—they’re about respecting local norms and values. Not every culture prioritizes embracing Western ideals, and taking it up the ass isn’t exactly high on their list. The world doesn’t revolve around your preferences, so stop acting like it does.

Off topic, but everytime the WWE goes into that region, how much they cater is really disturbing to watch. World Cup was a reminder as well. I'm not sure this is the win people think it is. It's a frist world problem. Funny yes. Same as movies going to China and changed. Not sure I'd play it even on PS.

I understad the general sentiment, but talking about "muslims" as some kind of monolithic group is naive. Makes about as much sense as treating "christians" as a monolithic group. Christian churches in particular for the most part would love to ban these games too if only they had more societal power to do so.

You think it's not officially for sale there because somebody chose to not offend someone?
It's not there because it wouldn't pass the ratings board there and they decided to ignore the region entirely instead. Much like a game might get banned in Australia or Germany for different reasons, you can't just release anyway but "choose not to because you're sucking up" to anyone.

The game does not offend Muslims. It's just not "culturally" appropriate for the whole region there, let alone Muslims.
Religion and culture are almost completely intertwined in that region though. Even foods that they eat are affected by religion in some cases, which I found weird when I was there, down to what type of fish are allowed to eat and which are not.
LGBTQ themes are absolutely offensive to them, so no wonder pride flags and games like Veilguard are banned there.
