Not among my top albums of the year (Blur, Leonard Cohen, Giorgio Moroder, Brian Wilson, it's been an amazing year), but as a comeback effort, it's pretty freaking nice. Hopefully Hilary sticks around this time.

ESO has shockingly become my favorite game I've ever played. No hyperbole - it's genuinely without any real flaws that have taken me away from it. DoA is fun, as expected, but I am still a bit confused about the DLC situation. I haven't taken the time to figure out what to buy to unlock everything. I'd love just one big code, regardless of price, that would get the job done.

I'm still waiting on the new Veruca Salt album to arrive. The vinyl is taking forever. :(

Got some nice pickups toward the end of last month and my Airstrike masterpiece figure came in today. Wheeljack and the other are KO and come with some defects, but they are great. I Finally got off my ass and built one of my Ikea glass self's and moved my Ninja Turtle collection. Here is a closer look, I am looking for other internal self alternatives. That metal spice rack doesn't do a good job.

Been a while since I had a big pick-up. Got these two babies: a pair of Sony MDR-CD900STs and a pair of AKG K612 Pros.

I've owned the CD900STs before, but traded them. Always regretted that, so these are here to stay this time. They are just... Legendary. Absolute giant killers. Better than good headphones that cost twice as much. At certain things they're better than headphones 4x their price (particularly their mid range). Vocals just sound absolutely stunning.

The K612s were originally just to hold me over until I could find a seller for the CD900STs in the states, but I found them right after buying these. Still, very good headphone, just not even in the same league as the Sonys. Nice for playing online games though, since I can actually hear myself speak. :3

my pickup will only be appreciated by a limited number of people, nonetheless...
feast your eyes upon this wonderful object from Xenogears that will be fixated on the wall of one of the rooms in my residence in milan, when i get back in 2 weeks...

Thing is still shrinkwrapped, so this photo does not make it any justice.. put in on the left entrance frame of my old room in parent's house to get some rough size comparison.. The thing is huge :)
btw NOT purely a wallpaper as i had it printed on a canvas for painting, and even the original image had the canvas "feeling" and did not seem a simple image printed :p

Got 2 watches for my bday. A Sony Smartwatch 3 from my GF as my daily user, and I got myself a Tag :)

I'll be interested in hearing your thoughts about how much you use both over time. I have a minor collection of watches that I love (nothing special to other people), so I'm loathe to get a Moto 360 or the like. I'm afraid I'd feel the need to wear the smartwatch all the time.

I'm crazy excited to play this. I love Rare!

I also had some great luck thrifting this week. Can't wait to add these to the collection.

my order from the LA-LA-LAND Records anniversary sale finally arrived.

love me some Bear McCreary soundtracks.

Got a new keyboard!

Well, I did buy it like 4 months ago, but Massdrop takes a takes a while to say the least.

It's a white Pok3r MX Green with custom Tai-Hao PBT Miami keycaps.

Also sorry about blurry photos, I am incapable of taking good shots with my phone.

The MX Greens feel amazing. And the board is very, very solid.

Completely in love with it right now.

So uh, a few weeks ago I bought an OG vita with an 8GB memory card, case and three games from Gumtree for £70. Traded the console to CEX the other day, got £66 credit for it, traded in a few more games (couple of 3DS titles) and I ended up with a brand new boxed vita slim for about £8 cash:

I got this weird desire to play shmups all of a sudden, recently. I don't know why. I've never been good at them and the only ones I had as a kid were Tiger Heli and Sol Deace. I'm not really sure if those two are really considered shmups, but I played them a lot.

I bought all these on Amazon, and most of them were really cheap.
That Otomodius game was only 7 dollars, so I don't feel bad for never playing it on my account in case I got an achievement or something. I saw a video of it after I bought it on youtube and was just like...man...
The other three I've liked a lot so far (Dodonpachi: Resurrection, Dodonpachi Saidaioujou, Akai Katana ). I'm still not any good at them. I can only get past the first two levels without dying in Dodonpachi Resurrection on novice mode, I don't want to think how long it'll take me to get past that "laser gauntlet" on 4 or 5 without dying. They're good fun, though.

I play them with this new controller I got,(upper left) a PDP versus controller for 360. I saw a recommendation on a youtube video (Ser Flash, I just learned about this guy, but I'm into his videos now). I like the controller a lot, although I'm worried it won't last according to some reviews I've read about it.
I knew Doom on Saturn was pretty bad, but I wanted it anyways for some reason. Strangely enough, I like it more than Saturn Quake which I think is better-received. I can only play it a couple levels at a time, though, as it gives me headaches. I got the Saturn 3D control pad because, why not? I ordered a white one from Japan too, but who knows when it'll get here?

I got these five games on Xbox Live as well.
Rez HD has been on my "to-buy" list for a while, and I got Guardian Heroes because it's only five dollars! Five Dollars! It plays really well with that versus controller, too.

Last thing for now is a new/used stick. As someone who completely sucks at fighting games so I don't play them that often, I have too many fightsticks.
I'll be putting a Seimitsu LS-40 in it and replacing the buttons. I'm thinking purple buttons with a purple-bubble balltop this time.

First time I bought a stick used, so I was a little worried. Whelp...
I got some satin-white vinyl dye coming. It probably won't match well, but it'll match better than black, I reckon.

Oh, and of course I bought Rare Replay (second picture) along with a copy of Soukyugurentai. I've heard good things about it. Just got it today so I haven't played it much.

Pictured with my Fender Classic 60's Tele.

damn, teles look sexy in white. Well, they look good in any color, but that white looks sexy. I have a 3 color sunburst American Standard I got in '98 and a 50's black esquire with a black pickguard. I should try to start playing again...

im gonna use the smartwatch mostly at work where i can check my mail and messages without taking out my phone as i'm not actually suppose to have my phone on me! i'll also use it at the gym. I'll be wearing the Tag on other occasions.

Got these a while ago when there was a 3 for 2 offer at Amazon Spain. A friend and I ordered together, which is why it's an odd number:

This came last Saturday. Almost all my Club Nintendo points are gone now.

I think this is the first time I've posted in one of these pick-up threads. I've never had much to show until now I guess or never taken photos.
