Collectors Journey statue arrived today. Looks nice. Its polystone, really nice quality.

I've never really gotten anything like this before so I don't know if its significant to get number 1? What does that even mean, first one made?

Also came with this nice art print. Its small, only about the size of my hand.

Found a decent deal on Steins;Gate and finally managed to buy PQ.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition and Lost Planet 2 were dirt cheap used so decided to check them out since I have been interested in them for a long time. Also don't really know why it took this long for me to get P4U since I really liked the first game. Shame they didn't use the full name on western release.

Got also some anime blurays. Still need to get the third Berserk movie but the price is still rather high so I will wait for it to drop before getting it.

Haha, goddamn, is that a JH Audio angie?

How does the vita drive it?

Yes it is =)

The Vita actually drive them fine as Angie's don't require TOO much power (drive the Shure SE846's fine too). However, I gotta turn the Vita to the max to drive the Sennheiser IE800.

I also bought the 3 Berserk movies recently and like yours 2 is missing a sleeve but 1 and 3 both have one, pretty annoying I just ended up throwing the other 2 away.

Yeah I was surprised that the second movie didn't have the sleeve while the first one had especially since all the promo pics have the sleeve. It is rather annoying when releases for series have different kind of packaging.

My old one decided to no longer work on the 2.4Ghz band so I needed a new one.

Some offline fun, Qwirkle was a git from my girlfriend. Pretty fun game, although she beats me every time we play it :( Current score is 7-0.

Finally was able to grab Fallout bobbleheads, got 3 Destiny engrams, Division rag, Deus Ex statue and signed Horizon poster. Looking forward playing Batman.

Heard about Infinite Jest on Idle Thumbs (I think) awhile ago, which lead me to buying the other books.

Nice haul! I also have that same version of Infinite Jest sitting under my bed right now because of the Idle Thumbs talk about it. I've only read the very first bit so far but it definitely feels very Vonnegut, very absurd, I like it.

Coincidentally also read through Ender's Game on my phone not too long ago. Probably the most recent book I've finished and was pretty captivated by.

Finally picked up one today. Less than $200 for everything was good enough for me. I've
been wanting one forever.

Nice! You're in for a treat with Blazing Lazurs. Definitely one of my all-time favorite shooters (max out Weapon III and missiles and you're pretty much invincible).

I literally just bought both of those games from Amazon a couple of days ago! Only received Stein;Gate though because they are currently awaiting stock for Persona Q :(

Congrats! I very recently got into PC Engine/Turbografx gaming myself. I got myself an RGB modded region-free PC Engine Duo R so I can play anything that's available for the platform (well almost anything). I've got a few games on the way as well, so I'll post those hopefully sometime next week, but what sucks is that so many great games that I want to play are just absurdly priced. Even something super-common like Blazing Lazers is really going up in price and on top of that I have to import everything (I live in the Netherlands where the thing wasn't even released as far as I know). So I really have to try to find a cheap source for games, but so far it's been mostly eBay prices unfortunately.

Wasting mo...I mean, wisely investing in a selection of movies on payday is becoming a tradition, and no reason for this month to be any different. Recommendations from the Horror OT helped inform a number of my purchases this month, and I'm trying to gear up for October early this year.

Had already seen They Live, Manhunter, and An American Werewolf in London. Had never seen any of the rest, though I just watched Tombstone today, and I loved it.

The games I've bought this month so far
DSCN2415.jpg

And my big purchase/project of the month so far. Picked up a megasquirt 2 kit. For those that don't know, its an aftermarket engine management computer, which is fully tunable. Now I just have to spend a day putting together the board and wiring it up in my car.

Play-Asia have been selling them (Oreshika) for a while. They went out of stock, but came back in a couple of times near the end of July.

Sons of Anarchy board game - barnes and noble sale down from $50 to $13. Amazon rated high and my wife digs the show.
Borderlands xbox one
Pony Suprise x2 - daughter and wife "needed" them
Smash up price match at toysRus to amazon. Kind of a slap in the face when you open that box and there are 4 packs of cards and most of the box is empty.
Rare Replay - sold out everywhere but gamestop.
Frozen scrabble - tricking my daughter into learning how to read good.

-I found all of these Simpsons comics for 50¢ each at Goodwill.

-I got all of these movies for $2 each and the CDs for 99¢ each.

JrpbEyi.jpg

-I found all of this stuff at Goodwill - the Pokemon stuff was 50¢ each and the LEGO Jurassic World set was $20. It's missing one tiny connecting piece for the JEEP but I couldn't pass it up at that price.

gATAg0W.jpg

-I FINALLY found these at my local Toys R Us! They only had 1 of each and I guess they put them out just before I got there so I really lucked out. :)

YgvWJoj.jpg

-I got the latest retailer-exclusive amiibo for my unopened US set and some European imports to open.

xO043wW.jpg

-All from Goodwill - the games and the nunchuk were $3 each, the N64 controller was $4, and the Wiimote (with Motion Plus!) was $5.

fKS2huI.jpg

-I found the SNES controller and games at Goodwill and grabbed the Metroid Prime Trilogy guide at Half-Price Books for $10.

That's the back of the PS2 poster - I ... don't quite understand.

Finally 64GB of pure greatness

Picked that one up along with the PS4 YGO game.

Not exactly gaming related but:

Is that a Piaggero? Hard to tell from that angle, but I bought my best friend one a few years ago and the sound is outrageously good. When she and her husband recently moved, her parents offered her an upright piano, but she declined because the Piaggero simply had a better sound and is obviously easier to maintain and deal with.

Had a hard nostalgia trip and decided to get Samurai Jack (still waiting on two seasons to be delivered) and Powerpuff girls. Never saw The Wire, but so far I have been enjoying the show. Thanos is one of my favorite bad guys and I haven't properly read through the saga, so here we go.

I went hunting today and was ecstatic to find these two at my local shop. I had these when they first came out and had to sell them (and a bunch of other games) around 2002 because I needed the money. I finally have them back in my collection today :D !

Like many others! I played hours of Battletoads the first night I got it.

Just picked up my first motorcycle earlier today:
2012 Honda CBR 250R. A few cosmetic issues and scrapes here and there, but super pumped that I got it for a low price, assuming she's mechanically sound.

Just have to get it registered and get the plate and such, then buy the helmet and the rest of the gear. Parking it behind my car for now, as I'm kind of paranoid that someone is going to steal it if I park it on the street.

Nah it's a P115.

I ordered some stuff on Amazon last week and it arrived on Sunday.

Got Rising since it was super cheap and I'm playing through the series right now, picked up Ys through a friend recommendation, and I finally have all three volumes of JoJo's Part 1. Pretty decent haul overall.
