I've been wanting a Blu-ray version of that PPG set, but it still hasn't happened yet. I might give in one of these days.
Had a hard nostalgia trip and decided to get Samurai Jack (still waiting on two seasons to be delivered) and Powerpuff girls. Never saw The Wire, but so far I have been enjoying the show. Thanos is one of my favorite bad guys and I haven't properly read through the saga, so here we go.

I missed out on the original releases and now I can experience them with more bells and pixels.
I haven't owned a bicycle in more than a decade.
Three of these came from a flea market.
I guess fantasy and games are the theme for this summer.
Re-translations of the classic Lone Wolf gamebooks came out last year. I loved these as a kid.
Meat snacks are surprisingly great and not as tough as I remember them.
Best Buy has been good to me lately.
Just went on sale this week, and so far it's some neat mindless fun. Kind of a palette cleanse after playing SotFS and Witcher 3 on Death March.
Best Buy also had some good 3DS sales lately, Codename was 20 and the other two had a B1G50% thing going on.

Gf gave me the Batman out her lootcrate and I found an import Olimar for just a few bucks over retail.

I don't usually end up liking these kind of statues much because of how wonky the face tends to be, but this one is pretty well done!

A copy of game I've been waiting for that's apparently bound by a region locked system. Well, at least it will make a nice frisbee off my balcony.
Two versions of a game I don't know anything about but was assured would work in my Region 1 systems. We'll see.
And that leather recliner in the background is my family going way way way overboard for a birthday gift, which finally arrived. After sitting in it for only 5 minutes I predict much sleeping will happen there.

Just got my Edition from "A Fractured Land: Tales of the Northern Realms" back from CDPR.

Got a few PS1 games in the last two weeks.
I found this baby a not so great game store(usually price there games at high end e-bay prices) I go to sometimes. But someone made a huge mistake! Yes that price tag says $9.99.

I actually wasn't expecting it to show up until next month since it's coming from Japan.
The last two times I've had a copy of this shipped to me, they just never showed up (It hurt more the last two times because those were the package that included the Mission Stick, oh well).

Honestly, it was only one order, but they tried twice. I got a refund in the end, so it's not all lost. I just really want that grey mission stick.
After 3 months of my initial order not arriving, I emailed them asking if they knew what was up. They responded that they would send another one and "as a show of good customer service" or whatever, they'd refund my order too.
Looking back, I wonder if they misspoke and just refunded me and didn't send another package. It was probably too good to be true anyways. It was only priced at like 30-40 dollars IIRC (this was like a year or two ago).

Gamescom and general pick ups, got the shirt for doing the beat the giant challenge. Really liked DQH, demo sold me on it alone. Also picked up some homebrew games for mega drive and dreamcast at a shop called Retrospiel in Köln, really nice shop check it out if you are in the area! Also, snacks. (Not featured, the copious amount of haribo I ate).

I don't have a decent camera on me right now, but I'm planning on doing a proper photo-shoot sometime with a better camera and I'll be posting those in the gaming setup thread so it'll pop up there sooner or later. I kinda wanna finish up my game room before I do it though.

There are some shows that I feel won't come to bluray, plus I didn't want to spend too much on these shows. Pretty stoked to rewatch both series after not having watched them since they regularly aired on TV (like over a decade ago).

I modded a pair of RPs I found for cheap on Amazon a couple of years ago, but my skills aren't as good as mrspeakers'. When I found out that the T50RPs are on the way out so they were all on sale, I went for a pair. So good.

Finally got my copies of 5cm/s and Garden of Words. Hurrah.
Noooo that 5cm/s pink jewel case! I can't read a single character of Japanese but I knew what that was immediately. That film messed me up a fairly decent amount. I'm now ordering a copy of The Garden of Words because I don't know anything about it and I don't know why.

I have wanted it for so long, I finally took the plunge and got it imported. Absolutely worth every single penny. Stunning. Shinkai is a genius.
Also, I am so excited for you to watch Garden of Words. It's as much as a gut punch as 5cm/s was, but all condensed into a single, visually stunning, beautifully told story. You are going to love it. Please PM me your reaction.
Also, while you're at it, if you haven't already, check out Children Who Chase Lost Voices and Voices of a Distant Star. Shinkai's genius is not limited to his two best known works (Garden of Words and 5cm/s), he is a genius all around.
Oh, and if you like sad and beautiful, also heck out Hotarubi no Mori e, if you haven't already. Up there in the feels department for me.
I also modded mine ya i'm sure the mrspeakers Mad Dogs is more finely tuned then what I have but the simple mod I did is definitely better then stock sound that's for sure. I might get another pair too if not there's always the new mk3 series.

This is more like late-July to August pick up post but here we go.
I haven't been collecting for a while but summer is when my collection grows the most. I've been focusing on RPGs on multiple platforms but my ds collection is by far the largest.
Some of them are brand new, some aren't. Really glad to finally get Valkyrie Profile though
Been steadily growing my psp collection. Mostly solid pick ups, but I was disappointed that my Ys Ark of Napishtim UMD was broken on arrival.
I've tried out Rogue Galaxy and it's a very solid game. Will be playing more of that tomorrow. And also, extremely happy with the condition of ps2 pick ups overall.
Ps1 seriously has so many rpg goodies and I'm not sure how I'll get all the games on my list. I probably still have 20? or more still on my list. But then again, my ps2 list is even longer.
Will be posting more when my pending shipments come in.
