Yes, Nintendo Power actually.
Nintendo's biggest mistake was allowing Nintendo Power to stop being a thing, it was the best promotional device Nintendo could ever have.
American school/public libraries carried Nintendo Power.
PlayStation would benefit from having a physical PlayStation magazine geared towards men that only talks about PS HW, PS games and girls.
Something like PlayStation's version of Nintendo Power plus the girls of Maxim/Playboy in hot outfits. Public/School library approval would be essential.
A physical magazine being something that young people could read when parents have taken away the phone/tablet/PS5/TV.
Subscriptions would come with codes for exclusive game demos and early access that can't be obtained elsewhere.
Studios that do PS exclusives could get featured in the magazine and it would be a great way for studios to buy ad space for their games.
People could subscribe to the magazine via the PSN and buying a new console would get you 2 free months of the magazine.
Magazine articles could have QR codes that would open the PS Android/iOS app and take users directly to the game so they'd never have to wade through the PSN.
Allowing users to pick games to play via their PS smartphone app and boot directly into those games in their PS5 would be a big plus.
Users going from reading PS magazine to playing the featured demo game without ever wading through the PSN on their console.
Scan QR code (enter code for feature phone) with PS app, "Load" game demo via PS app(downloading to console, even if powered OFF), notification on PS app that game is "loaded", push power button on console and boot PS5 directly into that game.
Moving back to the "direct game play" of PS2 by allowing users to handle game selection/loading via smartphone/laptop with the PS app would keep the console free from the negative sentiment that users feel when using PSN.
