I don't see them repeating the 3DS mistake again. $449 for the basic model is high.

I recall people were saying this exact thing about the Switch before it launched. Anything above $250 was “pricing themselves out of the market” and “repeating the 3DS”.

8 years later it’s still $299 and selling like crazy.

Fair, but the Switch's hybrid concept was new at the time. Unless the Switch 2 brings something just as innovative, $449 feels high.

I'd expect them to go from 429 to 479 eurobucks. I don't see them pricing it too close to 400 or going as high as 500.

Forgot to add context as I have a habit of replying with just gifs, sorry about that. My guess: $399.99 for the basic model $499.99 for an OLED model. Smh, I think a lot of people will be trading in their PS5's/XB1X, more so this time around.
