The US and allies (well, pretty much just the UK) had good reasons to invade Iraq. Enough to justify an invasion? I doubt it. But Saddam literally used chemical weapons. It was much worse than other regimes at the time like Libya.
And Iraq never has produced that much oil (a fair amount, but not a major player - and yes, I am well aware that the person who kickstarted Norway's fossil fuel extraction and wealth fund was a British company trained Iraqi). That argument is frankly silly as it never was going to secure much oil production.
Russia on the other hand have absolutely zero good justification for their invasion. That they won't even call it an invasion or a war alone tells us that.

So Mcdonalds sold their business to a Russian company and it just re-opened under a different name. Everything is apparently the same, including the food options (just renamed for copyright purposes). This is really disappointing and I hope more businesses don't follow suit. The whole point is to deprive Russians of this type of thing, not let it continue to operate under a different brand.

SPD, Green party and FDP are the ruling parties. CDU is at least as bad as the SPD if not worse and the only opposition parties left are the right AFD and the left “die Linke“ which are minorities in the Bundestag.
And even if someone is successful in starting an investigation…our bureaucratic system is sooo bad and slow, it would probably take decades.But it doesn‘t have to be collusion. Just scared to make bad decisions. So instead they make none and if something goes wrong, they blame it on others.

That is understandable though, as for opposing war in the US (or UK, or any functioning democracy) there are zero negative consequences if you don't get violent. Well, okay, perhaps there might be a few incidents of overzealous police officers misperceiving a threat or the police being stupid and using poor crowd control tactics (like kettling), but that's it. And if you are detained, then people can likely find out where you are within hours, if not within minutes.
In Russia, you don't even need to attend a protest or openly protest to disappear.
So we don't really know how many people are at most quite against the war (we can estimate the numbers were are ardently against it by the number of missing people). That said, I think with the brainwashing that has been going on there, there likely are a sizable number of people who are for the war there.
