I had the same worry, but I don't think anybody's not showing backordered. Somebody with some experience with gamestop's online preorders was saying that pre bonuses always show as backordered until the time the game ships. So I'm going to say that as long as you preordered before the artbook info was taken off of the website, you should be fine.

At least I hope so.

If not, look on the bright side - I'm sure the images will be scanned in high res and on the internet on day 1 without fail! :p

When people are generally talking about the Japanese version, it would be for the PS3. All the 360 talk is from people over at SRK who have that "special burned" version.

Are PAL and NTSC still an issue with games today? Could just be that the game works on all NTSC systems but not PAL ones is all.

But the game came out on both systems in Japan today! Why would the discussion be PS3 only?

I'm talking with gaijin here. I don't think it's dumb to assume that the people who are importing the game might have 360s. I don't think it's dumb to assume that Americans living in Japan might own 360s.

Lyte Edge imported it for 360 and so did I, so it's not a silly assumption. Play-Asia gets games early and their shipping can be very fast - it took less than a day for my j360 to reach NY from Hong Kong.

They're also the place to go for 360 region lock info. BB playable on U/J consoles but not PAL.

HD consoles refer to the same resolution and frame rate standards worldwide, regardless of whether they used NTSC, SECAM or PAL before.

Thanks for the Remote Play video DJ. Looks great. It's just unfortunate that the D-pad on the PSP isn't well suited to fighting games. Still, I can imagine I will get some use out of the feature even if it's just for fun.

ya know, pointing out when there technically is or isn't a loli character is one of those things you don't correct people on. Like if you're in a group of people you aren't close friends with and someone gets a porn actor's name wrong...don't be the guy who says "Actually that was Jenna Jameson in Backdoor Sluts 11..."

HD spiritual successor.

There are many similarities to be sure, but there are lots of stylistic changes, brand new characters, and new moves. It's fair to say that it's not really an HD Guilty Gear, but fans of Guilty Gear will love BlazBlue, and non-fans of Guilty Gear never actually played Guilty Gear.

I'm in the same boat as you. It's pretty upsetting, considering that I ordered the damn thing back in April, before the book was taken down the very first time.

I checked my Gift Card and the balance for the amount of the game + tax was removed, but no status change. It also doesn't list the card as charged in the Order Summary.

Yes it is different. It says "For Japan only".

It's the first time I've ever seen ESRB rating and the American publisher at the start. Usually it still has the Japanese warnings and CERO rating even when in English.

No special edition, but I did get a soundtrack CD with it.

NA 360 discs feature the ESRB rating logo on them, and I assume the CERO rating is on the Japanese discs. The artwork might also be different since the box arts are different as well.

Same. My debit card was charged for it today according to my bank. I assume this means it's about to ship. I ordered next-day UPS shipping, so I'm hoping that means I can expect to receive it at least on day of release.

IS the artbook verifying as well? If so i think you are good for the book unless it says backorder.
