I'm not watching a single footage! I'm literally buying this game without knowing anything.
Ehhh.... seriously, watch the footage. This style of fighter isn't for everyone.

Holy shit... the title update from today for BlazBlue improves the netcode SO much... I'm in Southern California and I played versus the same pals I've been playing pre-update and now the connection is just as good as when I play my other socal friends!

AKSYS/ARC, you guys did an excellent job!

No longer does the connectiond/latency degrade as the match goes on, it is consistent after the initial synchronization.

Lobbies, spectators, passing your turn.

This is a fighting game with an excellent online experience.

Damn you MarkMan, I really want the game, but don't make me die waiting for it!

360 is still listed as a pre-order.

Now I'm questioning my 360 pre-order... should I have gotten the PS3 version? I play this back and forth game every time. Is there any compelling reason I should choose one over the other? The remote play for the PSP sure is a nice feature...

when in doubt get the version your friends are

You should see the PSP remote play quality too...I was stunned and amazed by how lag free it was. More games should have this feature.

Can you select the language track for individual characters ala SFIV or is it either ENG or JPN for all characters?

man, I haven't played BlazBlue since I left japan, and I'm really fiending. I loved the game in arcades, and I'm aaaall about picking it up for PS3. I have more than enough friends that love GGXX to warrant a purchase.

it is not on a per-character basis like SFIV

Gotcha. JPN it is then! I don't care what they're saying and JPN sounds cooler.

Wish I could pick this one up at launch, but sadly, gonna have to wait a bit. The LE makes it so tempting and part of me hopes that it ends up being like the Prince of Persia preorder LE that I was able to snag on Amazon a few months after launch.

don't care either way
when you're online the opponent's voice will conform to whatever language option he or she chose anyway apparently

The four "unlimited" unlock keys are up for download on the US Xbox Live Marketplace. 80 points each.

There is a note on the download screen that says: This content can be obtained through normal gameplay.

I want to practice Carl >_<. Everytime I go into an arcade I get some guy that passes up the other 8 machines and comes at me...

I picked up the Japanese PS3 version today. What's funny is when it loads on an English system it even shows the ESRB rating. So basically the disc is the probably same for both countries. The game is great by the way.

Like DimmuBurgerKing, most of my friends only play the occasional fighter, leaving me with no real life friends that would own this game... that's what makes the decision so hard.

They've always been pretty open in saying it's the exact same disc from the get go, although Japan isn't getting the special edition the US is.

Yeah, I have a Japanese system, and when I boot the game up in English, it even gives me the "Aksys Games" logo. Same disc for both Japan and U.S.

I missed this post. This is good news to me as I'm gaming on a FF Black Cloud PS3. Thanks for letting us JPN PS3 owners know.

And the normal one will probably cost the same as the US edition or more. We get the "its new!" tax.

That's pretty funny. :lol Talk about import-friendly!

I bet the art actually printed on the disc is different, though, right?
