As for the time-frame of the non-LEs I'm pretty sure that's just bound to speculation, it will all depend on how fast the first print/LEs stocks sell (or if the first print/LEs are just bound to pre-orders), but consider how high it is on the GameStop best seller charts I'm sure you'll see the non-LEs soon than later.

As I understand it's really good, of the 12 available characters 2 are considered bottom tier (I think tager and haku-men) and 2 are considered top tier (carl and v-13?) with everyone else being in the middle. Even in a match like v-13 against tager, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkOTCa-1YoI tager still holds his own really well.

And considering how many times they re-balanced guilty gear :lol they'll probably keep updating this too.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong about that stuff too, honestly this is like the first time I've ever even bothered to figure out what people meant by tiers ... I suck at fighting games hah.

I keep hearing that there's really only 3 tiers, and the lower characters can still beat the upper tier characters. So nothing like SFIV or Smash Bros or anything. Then again I'm not a pro so I can't speak from experience.

I wouldn't put much stock in the 'backordered' status. That's happened before and the stuff ends up shipping on time. Though it is Gamestop so who knows.

Yes to all those questions. (OK, the US version isn't out yet but I highly doubt there'll be region lockout on the netplay since the game boots up with the Aksys logo if your console's set to English.) 360 version's $50 on Play-Asia, PS3's $60.

Yeah, 360 version is playable on NTSC consoles. Locked out on PAL.
