So this asshole at GameStop told me that they're aren't getting another shipment of the game until August because that's when the release date is for the Non-Limited Edition of the game and they only have copies of the game for people who preordered. So basically WTF: there's a release date for the Limited Edition and then there's a separate release date a month later for the non-limited edition? Is this guy bullshitting me?

What are the chances that I am going to find this in Target, Walmart, Best Buy if GS stores only seemed to have ordered copies for preorders?

There's also one that unlocks if you're losing terribly and your opponent taunts you. Got that one tonight.

BANGBABANGBANGBANG was really funny the first time I heard it but now I kinda hate how damn loud it is. Maybe it's my setup but the game's sound mix is not very good. You've got all these voices going off at the same time and the music is real low. It drives me nuts, especially playing against a Rachel. Her little sidekick doesn't shut up. I gotta see if you can adjust the levels. And I thought the game let you assign language tracks per character, like SF4? I didn't see it in the options. Do you have to unlock it or is it not in the game?

Load times are 2-3 seconds, but they occur pretty often. Expect to wait a while to change characters if you lose in arcade mode. Lack of an install option is pretty disappointing.

WTF total downer. Bitch fucks him up, stabs him and they go off to destroy the world? Wat?

Also, story mode is...weird. I must need to lose at some point but Ragna's ended at 35% or something.

You have to unlock Unlimited versions of characters and the Astral Finishes of all but 3 of them. Can take it or leave it really.

There's unlockable Astral Finishes for some characters. And I think it's better that there are no unlockable characters, as in they're all available from the start. Unlocking characters in fighting games is kinda dumb, imo.

Add me to the list of folks dissapointed by no install option. The loading isn't terrible, really, but in 2009 there should be no loading. I have a hard drive for a reason, dammit!

On the positive, I really like how the characters are all so different, and I really like playing as Bang. The game is gorgeous, the voice acting is pretty good, and the system is pretty interesting.

I have officially claimed Noel to be AWESOME.

I rock with her and win pretty well. I was only like Level 2.. and then some Level 19 joined my game.. He was a Noel player too. I ROCKED HIM. HARD. I ended up gaining 2 levels off that win. :lol

I kind of know what I'm doing with her and have some good combo set into her Ultra (haha sf4 terms). Her air ultra also rocks since no one expects it!

I also ran into a guy really good with Arakune.. Would pop behind me and then in front of me and keep me juggled. I would have to break so early into the match..

compared to KOF, the BlazBlue sprites are closer to being hand-drawn, because we only use the 3D graphics as an outline. In KOF, they do all the shadows and shading in 3D, and then convert them into 2D sprites, but in Blaz Blue, we redraw the sprites by hand.

I think BB is good.. its really fun.

The biggest thing is the speed. Like holy fuck, LITERALLY split second decisions. By time you decide whether you should unleash barrier to get some breathing room, odds are it's too late and you're fucked. That kinda stuff has to become second nature.
