These story modes percentages are giving me rage

Whose in particular?

I got 100% in all of them as of last night, had the most trouble with Jin...but his was the first one I did, so I couldn't really remember who I lost to and which paths I took.

In every fighting game thread there are posters going on about how the PS3 community is larger and more active, but I don't think there's all that much of a difference. Heck, lookit the recent SF4 tourney - prior to it there was all this talk about how the 360 scene is dead and yet the 360 bracket is twice as large as the PS3 one. The BlazBlue gamertag list has a pretty even split between consoles, with a bunch of folks who bought both versions. So either version is a safe bet. EVERYONE SHOULD BUY IT. Then they should invite me to their games because I am too shy to ask for invites or to start games on my own. :(

I just beat arcade on Hell. Didnt have much problem until v-13. I fought her for about 45 mins then just put the controller down for an hour. Came back and whooped that dumb bitch on the first try.

Beat it with Litchi. Today was my first day playing with her and i have to say shes incredibly fun to use.

BTW my PSN id is: Wolfwood0 if anyone want to add me. Is there a chat?

Now try beating Teknopathetic's v-13 (psn moodyshuffle)

THAT is hell

Is it Nu or V-13? I've heard her called both... o_O

I have a few questions though. What does V-13's quarter-circle-back+A/B/C do? It makes a big void on the ground, but I haven't noticed it actually affecting the match.

Also, is there any way to learn more of the basics of the game? I thought the lessons with Boobie lady would help, but it only gave me a short movie and no real instructions. How do I unlock more videos (and are they even helpful)?

How do I unlock V-13's story mode? Do you actually earn anything for playing through the story modes? I beat Ragna's but it says that it's only 39% complete or something.

I'm having a lot of fun playing, but I'm totally confused. V-13 is really fun, but I feel like my moves and combos are a little cheap. I'll probably get my ass kicked when I go online, though.

Technically V-13 but pronounced Nu(I think it had to do with the greek alphabet).

The void makes everyone stuck inside go slow as hell.

The other disk that came with the game can be helpful, the teach me ms. litchi isn't really meant to teach you about the game, just an extra. I personally just got the most from hands on with the game, even if I need to get destroyed a lot.

You earn Hakumen and V-13 after completing a path of each character, then you unlock the true ending after those two.

It slows your opponents movement and also makes their jump more floaty.
Slows their falls as well... Don't want to be getting sent back into one of those and left floating for an extra second. Just another opportunity to get DD'd into oblivion.

Pretty sure it slows down an opponent on or near it. Good for keeping opponents at a distance or forcing them to jump and/or airdash toward you if they want to avoid the trap. This in turn allows you to drop antiair moves in their FACE!

Grind it out in training, watch the included DVD, play with someone willing to give you a lecture on what every mechanic does, etc. The move sets aren't that large: the hard part comes in knowing when to use what and what moves can be chained into effective combos, etc. Check places like DustLoop and youtube for guides.

AFAIK, you beat STORY mode to unlock characters' Astral Finishers. Ragna's is unlocked from the beginning, however.

You will.

Hope that helped a bit.

Isn't it arcade mode to unlock astral finishers

i beat arcade mode and it gave me and "infinite" or "ultimate" mode for that character. I forget what it was called, but if i switched it on in the character select screen, it basically made all the moves own a little harder and made the heat gauge slowly rise constantly.

I forget but I think ragna, v-13, hakumen, and rachel all have their astral finsher already unlocked. So if you beat arcade with them, you get their unlimited version.

Yea, it's arcade mode.

Do you need to beat everyone's story mode to get the trophy of the true ending?

Kinda. You need to beat one branch of each, but you don't need 100%.

I don't think Haku-men has his unlocked from the start.

Figured as much. That's my next goal as far as Trophies are concerned. Score Attack is out of my reach for now.

Thanks Jube for allowing me to play a couple matches. I got my shit handed to me. Phew. I was hanging in there with everyone that first day or so. Now I'm sucking at this and Street Fighter 4. Hip hip hooray.

I'm surprised at how quickly I did everything, I have every achievement except for the two trial ranked achievements, 150 player matches, and getting to level 30.

Beating Score Attack helped a lot, it's definitely the biggest hurdle.

I think I might be wrong again...

Ragna starts out with his astral. I believe v-13, hakumen, and rachel gets their astral unlocked when you get their unlimited version.

Ragna, V-13 and Rachel start with it, you unlock their unlimited versions in arcade. Hakumen unlocks the astral and unlimited at the same time.

Check this!

Nice, I saw these earlier on the BB website but didn't print them because they were in jap.

Yeah I could really use that bonus blu-ray that came with the game. Hahaha. I am complete shit at the game as playing japanese guys online just taught me. Any good youtube channels with combos and stuff?

I always sucked at GG so sucking at BB is a given I suppose.
