GGs guys. I hope you were able to hear me when I said I was splittin'. Voice chat makes me nervous. Am I too loud? Too soft? Does everyone hear me breathing? Or mashing buttons like crazy? All my shames are going through the internet and into my opponent's ears. It's a dangerous technology.
I wish I hadn't developed a hard-on for poo Arakune. If I do ever figure out how to play as him I'll feel guilty, because fuck is he annoying to fight against. I think my current, hopelessly spazzy Arakune may possibly be more obnoxious than a competent one, though.

I only played my copy ONCE. A few hours later, I turned on my PS3 and the disc won't show up in the system. GTA, inFamous, etc. all work but the game doesn't load up!
Noticed a weird pattern around the edge of the disc, like little rivits where the data meets the edge of the disc. Could I have a defective pressing?
NEVERMIND. I'm an rtard. Somehow my mind mixed up the BONUS disc with the GAME DISC.

After about 2,5 hours of rigorous play, I have to say that this game rocks hard. I'm still grasping the basics, yes, but the gameplay just feels amazingly fun and deep. I was thinking about maining Noel, despite her reputation as a 'lower-tier' character - I just like her, I suppose - but then again I'm pretty fond of Jin as well ( as far as first impressions go ).
The pad is working fine with this game, by the way. I'm still torn between learning to use the stick or using the pad, however. I'll play with the pad for now, though, but maybe later on...

Just beat Tao story mode, this is one of the best videogame characters ever, a blast to play and pure fun.

The color listed there is a rank dependent on whom you use and your level. For instance if you main Carl a ranking would be yellow and such. One thing I fail to understand is when you use characters like Ragna or Arakune. The card won't update with a sub character and remain unknown for some reason. I had to main Jin for awhile before it register with Jin as corporal and Ragna as my sub...weird. If I go quite a few games with Ragna it'll go back to his card and no sub info

That's weird about the sub character not showing up correctly. That seems like a really annoying glitch. If you have two characters that you use interchangeably, then those two should really switch places every once in a while as main and sub.
That only happens with Ragna and Arakune, you say?

So BB is my first forray into the GG universe. Aside from the fact that I don't really know any of Arakune's more advanced setups/strategies/combos, I feel as if I'm playing the game as "Street Fighter" but with different movement characteristics. When I go into a match, my mindset consists of just establish zoning/spacing, make my opponent reveal the actions they'll be committing to for the round, and establishing patterns in order to setup my mixups.
