Laughingly badHas anyone tried the Fortnite FPP mode? How is it? I think it is called Ballistic.
Man I'm on the fence here.
Finished up with Silent Hill 2 Remake and now I don't know what to start - either finally tackle Baldur's Gate 3, which I bought last month, or buy Indiana.
I didn't want to spend any money, but Indiana seems really cool.
I just rolled the credits on The Thousand Year Door. I broke the difficulty a bit by doing a large chunk of the 100 floor dungeon early and I love that the Bump Badge exists to accommodate my over leveling. The final chapter drug on a bit too much and was disappointing overall even if I enjoyed the boss encounters. To be fair, it's hard to tie a bow on a sequence of chapters that go: wrestling comedy -> eerie/moody woods with a hex being cast on villagers -> Nintendo's take on Murder On The Orient Express/The Last Express -> Getting fired out of a cannon to the moon. I love this game so much. It made me laugh out loud and smile a ton. The cast is wonderful, the visuals are lovely, and it has that earnestness and positivity mostly found in Nintendo games. Not sure what to play next.
It’s been good while but god damn that Raging Brachydios hunt in Iceborne was epic as fuck! Especially the music in end stage was something.
That’s what I want to see more in Wilds, they don’t need keep using Elder Dragons in order to give us epic fights, they can do this even with none Elder Dragon monsters.
I have done tons of builds early on in the game, but in the end I decided that it is best to just level everything and switch between active weapons/skills and saved appearances. The New Game Plus ∞ grind for better equipment is something else in modern Team Ninja games.Nioh 2
Sunk a few more hours into this. I've veered towards using water magic with my dual swords. Think my last playthrough was largely fire and the switchglaive.
I specially didn't liked Behemoth, I did managed to beat it solo but it wasn't fun fight.....it was MMO boss fight with MMO like mechanics that really made battle annoying.Raging Brachy is intense. I'm with you on mixing things up with different species rather than just elders. Glavenus is one of my favorite fights in that game too. Much better than the typical elder, siege, and gigantic final boss sequence. Kulve, Safi, Behemoth, etc (even Fatalis) get boring after a while.

Quite generous. For the Stellar Blade fans... I have a question about skills and the skill tree. Is it generous whereby we can spec out different and multiple things, or does it steer towards a build or specific pathways?
If you're up for it, try the 'Lethal' difficulty. I'm not into sadistic difficulty options in videos games, but this game just becomes so much more fun in 'Lethal' difficulty.Ghost of Tsushima.
Got about 5 hours into it the first time I played and had to drop it due to life. Recently restarted and I'm loving it.
The game is very well made. But I found its difficulty more frustrating and annoying that I think what they were going for. What is the consensus on Nine Sols? I'm about to watch reviews by GamingBolt and SwitchUp. I'd be playing on PS5 and double dipping for Switch if it's good enough.

For reference, I find Hollow Knight, Returnal, Hades, etc. very fair and fun. And I find games like Elden Ring, Bloodborne, etc. annoying and frustrating.
If you're up for difficulties like that in games, you'll likely enjoy it.
I don't remember that option, and I did play it at launch so might not have been added at that point. I think I played it at the default normal difficulty. It seems there is a Story Mode now with adjustments to damage taken and given, so maybe that will help if I get it. Did you play it in that mode or Normal Mode, assuming you had the option? I don't know if the release version on PC had that.
Murder on the Orient Express chapter 5. I’m honestly not sure how they could top the settings in this game.Best Mario RPG and one of my all time favorites, glad you had an awesome experience with it. The game could have been released for the first time this past year and it would still have felt as fresh and fun. What ended up being your favorite chapter?
Prime is one of my all time favorite games, but if there's one flaw it's definitely the backtracking. Well, more specifically having to redo the pirate rooms that auto lock and don't open til you kill all the pirates every time you go back through them. That gets annoying after a while. And I think the map is kinda meh. But for an early 2000's game it's understandable. It still "feels" like a modern game overall though and I think it holds up incredibly well. When I played the remaster I thought it was so good still. I hope they redo 2 and 3 and I hope 4 is worth the wait. After being disappointed with Metroid Dread I've been playing Metroid Prime Remastered for the last 24 hours. Its the first time I tried a Prime game. First impressions are that it looks gorgeous and I love the sense of isolation. One big issue though, I appreciate iits over 20 years old but the backtracking is ridiculous. Nintendo really should have added a fast travel option. I don't mind a bit of toing and froing but much more of this and it'll go the way of Dread.
Maybe Samus and I should have called it a day after Super Metroid, she was never going to reach such highs again.
Helldivers 2 - Desperately needs a patch on the Pro. Performance mode looks amazing on the Pro, but Dolby Atmos breaks the audio, and I've had a hard crash every single day.
Murder on the Orient Express chapter 5. I’m honestly not sure how they could top the settings in this game.
The crashing is out of hand. They’re planning one. I thought the same thing until I realized just how badly they break the game with every new patch. Like, what would they even change to break just Atmos? Their engine and version control practices are abysmal.
Any difficulties? My wife wants to set up Sims aka I will do it once she finishes BG3 on the Deck.I've setup The Sims on my Steam Deck. Game plays and looks great on the Deck and it has been a nice nostalgia blast, but man, the game's far more stressful than I remember it being lol.
My friends are super needy, the hood is full of dogs and cats that keep pissing on my yard and the burglar comes at least once a week. What the fuck, where am I living?
Not too much. At first I tried following a YouTube video but wasn't lucky with that. Got much better results doing what this dude on reddit did:Any difficulties? My wife wants to set up Sims aka I will do it once she finishes BG3 on the Deck.
I probably never would have gone up to "lethal" without the suggestion. It did make combat way more fun but those fucking archers become even more of a pain in the ass.If you're up for it, try the 'Lethal' difficulty. I'm not into sadistic difficulty options in videos games, but this game just becomes so much more fun in 'Lethal' difficulty.
Yes, you get killed more often, but if you get into the flow, there's no better sight than seeing Jin cutting down enemy after enemy. It removes the 'sponginess' of video game enemies, and the game benefits from it.
I played intro of The Lamplighters League and I liked it a lot. Can you tell me whether there is any management elements later in the game? It is what kept me from getting fully into XCOM.Right now The Lamplighters League, High on Life and Killer 7
The Lamplighters League is quite fun actually
It's my firts strategy game and I don't know XCom (forgive me Gaf)I played intro of The Lamplighters League and I liked it a lot. Can you tell me whether there is any management elements later in the game? It is what kept me from getting fully into XCOM.
