"For news and updates on over 20 titles" maybe its because english is not my first language but this wording makes it seem like there will not be much new stuff revealed. Oh man...

We already have two games with black female leads...

Yeah I was joking. Partly a reference to the actress in Alan Wake 2 kind of suggesting that her role was some historic thing because black women had not been featured in a game before. Yet despite only being around 6 or 7% of the American population, you have these recent games: Alan Wake 2, Forspoken, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, Flintlock, Saints Row, etc. Plus the upcoming South of Midnight, Directive 8020, etc. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, but the purple forum was arguing the representation is still not enough. Technically, Black people are probably over represented in media now based on population. Latino, Asian, etc. are the ones underrepresented.

I mean this makes perfect sense.

Sweet PiSSeR rinsed Pro upgrades of 3rd party games, long-awaited updates, you know, stuff like like Little Devil Inside... topping it off with a new jaw-dropping trailer of Dead Stranding 2 running on PS5 Pro, done. Banger SoP right there.

They will 100% hold all the big guns for the big show in December.

You know how this works. 30th anniversary = their best showcase ever or ITS OVER

They have zero incentive to appease to the european userbase. Europe was Sony land even before MS had these awful two generations. now it's not even close.

This is what zero competition looks like.
It's a pre-Tokyo Game Show event, so this time they did an exception with the timing to make it more Japan friendly.

And well people can always watch the event the next day or stay a bit late. The timing is pretty very EU friendly compared to the timing that the E3/US focused events had.

Ok, it should be like this at least:
-Until Dawn (SIE)
-LEGO Horizon Adventures (SIE)
-Convallaria (SIE)
-Lost Soul Aside (SIE)
-Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered (SIE)
-Gravity Rush 2 Remastered (SIE)
-Resident Evil IX (CAPCOM)
Death Stranding 2 is a big maybe considering the TGS stage in a few days, while Days Gone -even if 99% real- probably won't be here.
In terms of first-party reveals, I'm also expecting a new game from SIE XDEV Japan.

My expectations are very low. But I’m also super easy to please: if there is a nice trailer for Resident Evil 9 with a 2025 release date then it’s a success to me.
Afair they said during one of the DRDR developer talks that it’s only in pre production (or super early in development) right now. I wouldn’t expect anything this year.

Well hope there are news for Pragmata

You have my sword 🗡️

Anyway, don't want to be that guy but I have a gut feeling though that A) it's never coming out due to it being stuck in dev hell for some reason , B) If it does come out, it's going to be VERY late in this gen (PS6 cross platform maybe?) and C) if it is coming out this gen, it's going to be technically underwhelming.

Guess we'll have to wait and see

Probably gonna do a Nintendo and show off a bunch a remasters and shit like that. "I remastered this and i remastered that, i focking remastered everything, so what so what"
Don't you dare sully the great Nintendo with that high minded big brained jargon. Their remasters are ye old cherished classics like TTYD and Super Mario RPG. Here we got Days Gone and TLOU2. Sony gonna start releasing remasters on day and date of the original game.

Nintendo took care of that IP so they can do stuff like that. Sony isn't cherishing its IP. Why don't they release a Resistance Fall of Man remaster or something? Damn.

Mark my words: Bloodborne Remastered and Bloodborne 2 will be announced at the end of this SoP.
GASP!!!

Don't give me hope. How dare you give me hope!?

You don't understand the impact this would have. It's like if we got the first communication from aliens but way, way better and more relevant to our world, our way of life, and science.

Are you sure? I feel like I’ve read a bunch of rumors lately saying it is releasing H2 2025 and is going to be revealed very soon.

Couple of third parties, and some more info on anything we already know about, so prob a deep dive on fairgame$, and if were lucky a gameplay trailer for wolverine, MAYBE a teaser for 1 unannounced gamed, not expecting anything more than that, and that's being generous.

Sony has done this... I am no longer hyped about their state of plays. You can only show stuff people aren't interested in or remasters for so long...

How can I be excited when I am, expecting to see only 1 or 2 games in that 20 that I would want? Might as well just release the trailers for them now and save me the trouble.

And no little devil inside and I riot.

What if we finally got a RDR2 remaster in 60fps as a PS5 native game and it launched with a pro patch this November? That would be big enough news for me, easily doable, and while seeming like a huge deal, actually not be that giant a pull. I doubt they will pull it off, but there are at least a few things that COULD be exciting in this. Hard to tell what they are smoking lately though, so who knows what we are gonna get.
