Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.
Will buy and probably enjoy. I hope like hell that DX11 support is out of the box this time.

That story somehow manages to sound even dumber than Crysis 2's. I didn't even think that was possible. Thank god they have a bow and that Crysis gameplay is guaranteed dope.

More open environment please. But it's nice to see more vegetation.

Also stable framerate on consoles please.

Would've been nice to have a WiiU confirmation? Surprised not many guys in the thread have mention the omission.

Pre order bonus is a f*cking joke. A cool bonus would have been early beta access.

LOL that fucking bow looks ridiculous.

"He should have a bow but he is nanosuit guy so it needs to look very high-tech!"

Is it possible that the preorder nanosuit is exclusive, no one besides preorder people can get it, it can't be unlocked
without hacking
, and it provides gameplay advantages?

Look at the size of the bow, is nearly big as him. I wonder were he will keep all the arrows. Nanosuit does't have pockets.
Well this is exactly what Crysis 2 suppose to look as environment, but after I saw the screens, Crysis 3 fits much better as a title.

What the fuck is this? Why is it so hard to come up with a story that makes some fucking sense at least?

Set in 2047, Prophet is on a revenge mission after uncovering the truth behind Cell Corporation’s motives for building the quarantined Nanodomes. The citizens were told that the giant citywide structures were resurrected to protect the population and to cleanse these metropolises of the remnants of Ceph forces. In reality, the Nanodomes are CELL’s covert attempt at a land and technology grab in their quest for global domination. With Alien Ceph lurking around every corner and human enemies on the attack, nobody is safe in the path of vengeance. Everyone is a target in Prophet’s quest for retribution.

I could do better in 2 minutes..

Set in 2037, Alcatraz is on a reconnaissance mission after uncovering the truth behind Cell Corporation’s motives for building the quarantined Nanodomes. These giant citywide structures were initially constructed to protect the population from Ceph forces, but have since decayed in to disrepair with dwindling resources. The Ceph, Cell, and civilians now fight for survival as Alcatraz attempts to recover the secrets of Cell's operations. New information now points to renewed Cell activity deep in the heart of the Nanodomes. Could these facilities be hiding answers that will shape the destiny of humanity?

Someone help me out here. Part of the bow is blurred, but the Nanosuit guy isn't, despite him being closer to the screen. And it doesn't look like motion-blur at all either.

@_@

the parts of the bow on the side are swinging after it being fired. It makes perfect sense.

Am interested just so I can use the bow. :p

Is it worth getting Crysis 2 first though? Or would it be fine to just play Crysis 3.

A bow could be a really fun stealth weapon, that's the least off my concerns with this game. AI it's the biggest problem. The other one is balance the gameplay systems. Crytek could give me an expansion of Crysis 2 with those issues addressed. That's enough to make the game a top tier shooter.
You get that from a few screens and a press release?
Don't underestimate tci psychic powers.

That doesn't make it any better, far worse even. :)

Ruined, overgrown cities is becoming the new WW2.

I don't care. I love that kind of setting. Something about it is really compelling. I was hoping they would use the concept for Crysis 3 for a while since it's a perfect way to blend parts of 1 and 2. So hyped for this, especially since I'm in the middle of replaying the first two right now.

My two cents is that the bow is viable because you need a stealth weapon with ammo you can reuse because bullets might be hard to come by in the jungle.

The premise sounds fun and the screens look fantastic.

Yes. Same nanosuit. The humans seems just like in C2. He has a bow (which I think is great though). Give me nanosuit against nanosuits dammit. And those aliens are still silly and stupid as hell.

Even the tech in C2 was inferior to the original. Don't really know what Crytek is doing anymore.

I swear stuff like this comes with technology and hardware. It's like every 3D game from the late 90s / early 2000s featuring industrial zones and construction yards, because those big, square concrete slabs were easy to do on the available hardware.

Next gen it will be some other fad. Maybe dynamic neon light source cyberpunk.

Just be thankful it isn't like Far Cry 3's US box art.

Will buy for sure. There hasn't been a Crysis game I disliked yet, here's hoping the levels are more open this time around, although my biggest problem with crysis 2 was "how it felt" not how the levels were designed, more or less, would love if they made the nanosuit closer to the first game, or at least bring back "speed" mode.

Or maybe console games with a decent lighting solution?

People underestimate what a good realtime lighting system can do for visuals and it's something that enhances them withouth the need to invest a lot more money in assets.
The Last of Us.
Did you like the ending?

And is great to see original concepts like The Last of Us, first game i've seen using zombie type enemies in quite a long time. I wish more developers used the idea.

Which other games (Enslaved?) feature foliage-overgrown cities, that I may play them?

The Last of Us, Wasteland 2, and Crysis 3 are three examples of upcoming games with very similar concept art of "overgrown post-apocalyptic city." I said "is becoming," not "is currently and has been in the past."

One is zombies, one seems more traditional Crysis shooter/stealth style, and I'm not familiar with Wasteland but isn't it/wasn't it an unusual style of game?

I have no problem with 3 new games with quite different gameplay styles, so I'm going to hold off on calling the overdone flag. I like the style of these environments more than those of Crysis 2. :)

Hmmmm, the game will not look anything like that on consoles....lucky I have a decent PC.

The fact that it is set in NY again makes me sigh
