Don’t assume what we know. I’m aware that it’s an additional 10%. The tariffs prior are already part of the equation. I can’t comment on variables like greedflation and other factors. Those are total unknowns. At the end, i just don’t see it as earth shattering for the entertainment industry as a whole. Entertainment electronics should never be seen as a must have. Most often these tariffs are used as a negotiating tool and they end up resulting in no change or some horse trading that nullifies the effect or an eventual rollback. We will have to wait and see. It’s crazy how little people on here know about this. Firstly, it's not a 10% tarrif but an additional 10% tarrif on the existing tarrifs for China. Now as it relates to video game software, there will be no effect. However for hardware, there is the potential for an increase of > than 10%. It's not a one to one relationship between the increase in tarrif and increase in prices. The increase that consumers bare is often greater than the tarrif due to the tarrif itself, greedflation, and other factors.
Also I’m no trump sympathizer. I’m certainly concerned about other essential industries affected by it. Just not interested in the doom and gloom for entertainment
