its probably already been said somewhere in this thread... but if rachael dawson's character got an actress change i don't see why they'd be touchy about doing it with the joker

Murder seems unlikely at this stage. He had a thing for sleeping pills, they were found at the scene, it doesn't take a genius to figure out how he died. The only question is whether he did it on purpose or by accident, and we probably won't ever know.

because the joker is a very unique character. it will be much more difficult to replace him.

Two-Face is born in THIS movie. Eckhart was seen with the Two-Face makeup on; he even appeared in a private (and still unleaked) trailer.

This is fucking depressing. I've always liked Heath as an actor, I thought he had lots of potential between the young hollywood generation. Really fucking sad to see someone do something like that this to themselves. And married with kids. Fucking blows.

Yep. last time i checked, a teaser was shown at Comicon with Harvey Dent's transformation. A guy/bartender (don't remember properly) asks "Dent? I thought you were dead!" to which he replies "Half!"

Since the Joker doesn't look, sound, or act like Ledger, it wouldn't be hard to get someone else to simply emulate Ledger's performance.

Not sure. Ellis sometimes has some of the best views on current events and sometimes he's like the assholes here when something like this happens.

Frankly, I'm kind of pissed about it. It was pretty low. Even though the guy can fucking write with knee jerk wit.
