The real question is if it's a demo with a small roster would it be the full starting roster 🤔
that would be amazing if true. i really want to get my hands on the game ASAP and see for myself it it's gonna be any good or not.

Now I'm going to be disappointed if the demo exists and doesn't have Ryce's full list!
What if Ryce's source was confused and this demo is what they got the leak from?

A demo with that many characters sounds like one hell of a pipe dream for everyone to get a hold of. In that case it'd be a timed demo sort of thing.
I don't care if the demo is timed or not as long as it's on PC

Waiting on some other source of information before I get hyped.
I have a hard time believing they'd put out of a demo but they did do multiple betas for SFV. It could also be a RE7 situation where they really want to win people over with the gameplay.

RE7 is a completely different scenario. They wanted to get in on that "OMG RE7 Reactions" hype train that PT and many other horror games had going for it.
RE7 demo wasnt even indicative of the final game , it was purposely cryptic and also served as a demo for the VR capabilities.
MvC getting a Beta test isnt that surprising , SFV had multiple beta tests. And a final Open Beta test 2-3 months before release, with everyone except one character from the initial roster.
Since the game is coming in september , it doesnt seem to surprising if a Beta test with Ryce leaked list comes out.
But the only reason I dont think it will happen is because Capcom would have immediately shot down Ryce leaked list. Instead of letting a negative image build up that the roster is bad.

It would fit w/ them copying RE7's marketing strategy.

Aren't betas temporary and used more for online stability checks while demos are more permanent?
