My god I am having the LAGGIEST party ever right now. What the fuck! It especially sucks because I am playing as Noel and she is such a poke heavy character. I press forward and the character moves forward 2 seconds later. wtf

Gonna get someone else to host next time. For some reason when it's my turn to fight, it gets all laggy for the first few seconds.

Shiiiiiit!!!! I just had a 12 hour blazblue session today. I leveled up my carl big time. I still lose with him a lot though. My player match win percentage dropped down to 26%. Carl is a lot of fun to play with. Also damn arakune. He's the knew flow chart ken. I get him every other match.

I think it had to do with all those people being in it, when it was just 3-4 it was fine.

I wish I could've stayed longer but people wanted to watch a movie and cut into my BB time. ='(

Just get ready to grab break when ever you get frozen. Most random Jin players I see do an ice car whenever your frozen though, I haven't seen many go for constant grabs.

I think thats "fighterspeak" nowadays. I think those are directional inputs?

EDIT: Yup. I guess it's easier than typing out directions.

g0atcheese > Look out for the tech throws, if they grab you and then go in for another grab, you get a lot more time with two !!'s to tech.

I can get out of the grabs most of the time it's just every other player I come across has this same strategy, so annoying. It wears me out.

Well I think I'm mostly out of my rut. Played 10 matches today, and won 6 of them. I was only really dominated once (by a Ragna...my downfall as Rachel).

Got my 3 wins in a row too.

This game is amazing.

Definitely. As soon as everybody left and it was just me and Tek I had no problems doing my moves and stuff. God that lag was terrible. I had to play one or two frames ahead.



I have a question. How do I escape Tager's Distortion? Is that shit pretty much unblockable if you are within range? I swear I saw this guy he was across the screen and the Tager Distortion pulled him all the way to Tager's close range. That's just bullshit even though he didn't get hit.

The Jin matches were epic man. I was on the edge of my seat yelling "oh shit" all the time

Backdashing away or jumping works against the pull, if I do it when I'm right next to someone(which I try to do), you can hit him out of it but it's usually better to try and jump. If I combo into it the grab ends up having two purple exclamation marks which makes it escapable. =(

I'm only able to do the halfscreen pull if I catch people off guard and they don't realize magnetism is lured in by that attack, after I use it like that once I typically can't do that again. If the opponent isn't magnetized then the move won't do that.

Anyway, I went on YouTube to look at some tournament matches and saw this...goddamn. The quality is horrible but that Jin player...OMG.

I really wish I didn't have to leave when I did, I never got to play you. Do you always play Tager too? I find those matchups fun, it's pretty much always exchanging magnetized fists back and forth.

Nu is my main. I keep bouncing around between characters to find a secondary and atm I think Tager is going to fit the bill.

I actually don't think I've done a Tager vs Tager match yet. :lol

Wooo. Gameworks Seattle is EQUIPPED now. They actually got some nice stuff there and by that I mean they have cabs for all the latest fighters. It was only SFIV before, now there's Tatsu, Blaz, KOF and Tekken 6 BR. I dunno why but I chickened out of playing KoF. But tested my mettle on Blazblue, despite not playing for awhile I held up pretty good. Had good matches against an Arakune but never won, but later a Jin beat him so I took him on. Ended up winning. Good to know that I able to win randomly in the arcade at least despite my lack of play recently XD

Theres a few tagers on gaf, I think we even had 3 mains in a room at one point. Was freaking brutal lol

lol. I'm not that "great" with Ragna (I thought I used to be until I recently started playing online... holy shit!) but I can do sizeable damage. I just need to get used to the arcade stick and the square gate is giving me a SLIGHT hard time in pulling some moves but overall I'm having fun. I'll start playing with other characters as soon as I mess around a bit (I'm still having a hard time memorizing Distortion moves *sigh* I have become rusty. Time to grease my sword!).

Are the 360 SF4 pads any good? I'm thinking of getting one since I now have SF2HDR, SF4, BlazBlue, and will be getting MvC2.
