Was messing around with Arakune in training the other day, and I've got a few questions for all you Arakune mains out there.
Is there any use for 5A other than to combo into 6B? I didn't have force counter hit on, but it couldn't even combo into 5B properly. Seems like a bit of a useless move unless you really want to push them away (by following up with 6B). 2A seems better in most cases.
And what's a reliable way to combo into 5C? It's great for starting air combos, but it comes out slow enough that it seems like I can't combo into it from anything. Is it possible, or is the move meant to be more strictly an anti-air move? I wasn't really playing around with counter hits too much so I guess it could be the problem...
He's pretty fun character to play, but I have the problem of not knowing how to capitalize on my curses effectively. I mostly just resort to trying to trap with 6D, 2D and clouds, which usually doesn't last too long.
