Did you buy it used? All new copies are upgraded to Limited Edition for free, and comes with the soundtrack+tutorial disc. You can go to Dustloop still.

No, I bought brand new but I think it is import version, I am in Euro region but the game might be asian version....

"at the V13 hate. Hakumen freaking destroys her."

No, he really, really doesn't.

"Not at high level play. A very good Hakuman has a good chance at beating a good Nu (IF he can get in), but Nu is higher tier than Hakumen. A good Nu player shuts out all options."

A character being on a higher tier does not necessarily mean that they have a good matchup against someone on a lower tier than them. In this case, however, Nu does happen to be a very, very bad matchup for Hakumen.

Also, if it is the japanese version then that explains why there was none of that extra stuff

I don't know a single character that has a good matchup against Nu.

That's not really what I was getting at. I'm just pointing out that simply saying she's "higher tier" than Hakumen isn't the whole story.

Oh yeah, that's why then. Dustloop forums, Shoryuken forums for you then.

Thanks, I got the arcade stick and I pretty much can not use it, I play all the games better with standart ps3 controller, SF4 is the only game that I feel comfortable playing with my TE :lol

Oh I know. My post wasn't meant to be a counterargument, but actually an assertion asking for confirmation.

But yeah, it's a bad matchup either way.

I also signed up for the tourney as well. I've just started to learn about rapid cancels, and counters with Bang. I'm also trying to tighten up my mixups, and projectiles with Rachel. I hope the tournament lands sometime on a weekday as most people are hanging out, or at work like me :(.

Edit: Taokaka can get in any characters face with her drives as far as I know.

Rachel? I'd think she has the easiest time getting in close.

edit: anyone else really like Tager's theme? It reminds me of Trigun for some reason. The first parts anyways.

Well, out of all the characters, Rachel is probably the easiest to get in into Nu... still means I gotta work hard at it though. When in doubt, counter pick with Nu!

Nu i wouldn't worry about. Tager you should be scared shitless about. In the right hands, he's a power house. My poor Tao can't keep the pressure on with that punk. Jin on the other hand is doable.

Bullshit and a half. Tager has the absolute worst defense if the game. Even his A attacks are counterable. Anytime I play Tager in ranked matches I'm blocking like 60% of the time.

Any character that can exert good close-range pressure is Nu's weakness, especially if they can move across the screen rapidly, like Taokaka.

You aren't playing Nus that are very good. Hakumen is a bad matchup against Nu. His attacks are slow and big, so he can't keep the pressure on her. He moves slowly, too, which means Nu can easily zone him.

Gargh, I really need to get back into this game, are there still Gaf games going on? I'd love to get my butt handed to me again online:lol

Everybody on my BlazBlue friend's list always seem to be playing SplosionMan as of late. XD

I'd be up for a game tonight though, 10:30 PM CST. I keep saying this but nobody ends up challenging me. =P

I'm usually on in the evenings around 7:00pm to midnight PST. My gamertag is on my profile, so if you want a punching bag to play around with, look me up. Fair warning, I'm a noob.

Hakumen sucks copious amounts against V-13. We aren't even playing super high level (still upgrading our skills) and me and my friends came to that conclusion instantly.

Hakumen's counter: LOL D LOL
Hakumen's large sword swings: LOL D LOL - Dash in during recovery/grab - LOL C LOL
Hakumen's super: LOL D LOL

He gets zoned out all day long...for free. She can't get hit by him though. Her poor life goes down the drain. :(

If Nu should get anything, it's the Rom Infinite.

Omfg @ the unlimited characters. lol

Can anyone provide me a picture of E3 2008 (where 4 people were "cheering" for megaton)

I think it seem very similar to icon of achievement, "Voyeur"

Just want to request for picture so I can compare. >.>

A decent Rachel still puts fear in my heart more then any character. :lol at her needing a buff. Tager so far is the most fun character to play for me even though i main Arakune.

Was messing around with Arakune in training the other day, and I've got a few questions for all you Arakune mains out there.

Is there any use for 5A other than to combo into 6B? I didn't have force counter hit on, but it couldn't even combo into 5B properly. Seems like a bit of a useless move unless you really want to push them away (by following up with 6B). 2A seems better in most cases.

And what's a reliable way to combo into 5C? It's great for starting air combos, but it comes out slow enough that it seems like I can't combo into it from anything. Is it possible, or is the move meant to be more strictly an anti-air move? I wasn't really playing around with counter hits too much so I guess it could be the problem...

He's pretty fun character to play, but I have the problem of not knowing how to capitalize on my curses effectively. I mostly just resort to trying to trap with 6D, 2D and clouds, which usually doesn't last too long. :p

You have never experienced that nasty infinite loop have you?
I have, thats what needs to be tweaked.

Other than the clap trap, Carl is easily the worst character in the game.

I need some tips on taking on Tager with Jin, I have a buddy on live that uses tager and %75 percent of the time he always comes out on top. I've gotten where I can keep it close, but he just blocks blocks blocks until I fuck up and then puts in a rediculous amount of damage combo...I need to be able to to destroy him!

No kidding... Kiunch is a beast... He got much better since we last fought (last week) and he went like 11-3 or something.

He adapts really fast... I would change tactics, beat him a round, and he would've adapted by then. At least I started to fall less for the random air DDs by the end of the night

I am just curious, did Tao actually shown her face in this game? if that's so then please link to picture of herself?

Nope, but I just assume she looks like
Kokonoe
, who we see in story mode frequently. Additionally, some of the unlockable artwork shows under Taokaka's jacket all the way up to her breasts, so we at least know she's mostly human unlike
Jubei
.

We have the bare minimum, 16, for each console. This will go in different levels... from 16-20-24-28-32 as each pool has a max of four players. The double bracket will have Byes if it isn't a 16 or 32 player tournament though.

Wow you left me in the dust. Still at level 24 here. Although I did just fix my 360 today.

Went up two levels today. Win rate up to 43%. Decent I guess.

I gave up, my TE stick kept saying it was unplugged so I couldn't even do anything. First time I have ever had issues with this thing, sorry about that.
