Hmm guess no one is using their mic atm then.

Either way, everything is running really smooth after the initial synch. Also Tager is alot faster than I thought he'd be.

More people should join :D

EDIT: lol i'm going to have to win one match sooner or later.

Its disappointing to see nu without the crazy air combos.

I agree, the nu players weren't very good, considering their level and all. :/

Volcynika let me put it like this, at least one of us is getting that kind of work right now.
Work hours at my place got cut and all I'm doing is studying and playing. I'm a workaholic and I want my dues darn it!!
: (

Eh, we're just busting ass to show our project to upper management.

Eraldo Coil, if I get home at a rather decent hour (gotta be up at 6am), I'll be in the room.

Wow thats kinda cool. If you have JP voices set on your side, and playing online, your character will speak japanese while the other player still speaks english.

EDIT: That combo Noel does (dunno the name but she's flashing green while it happens)...is there any way to try and escape that aside from barrier break? You can only counter hit while blocking right?

Alright im going to have to get in some practice with Bang and Ragna.

Are you guys on 360? If not, anyone want to get a room going on 360?

You...! So you are a GAFfer :lol Your Noel should arrest herself for rape :'( (You did join Icana's room, right?)

Anyway, that was my first time in a full room; great games, guys! :D Lots of fun playing and watching :D I'm so glad I don't get pissed off with this game when I lose XD Litchi screw-ups FTL D: I'm sure some of you noticed me doing that fan kick a lot--sometimes in the air, too--and randomly. Gotta love it.

I think I caught Papercuts off-guard with Steel Rain :lol Actually im still getting used to how everyone operates...but so far I like Ragna and Bang the most.

Tager really really shines in lower level play, since it only takes one mistake from your opponent and there goes their life.

Yeah that slam DD really takes a huge chunk out of your life.

Him and Hakumen both. Slow but devastating, a single mistake can cost you the match. It really is rough playing against those characters when you are still average at the game.

I can kinda hold my own against Tager, but the only person i'm having trouble with is Noel.

Get stuck in the corner and its all over.

Yeah, no kidding about the corner :lol I always pray they make a mistake and let me go ;_; Of course, I'd probably jump into their next attack, anyway XD

Most of Noel's (if not all? I don't know) of Drive spam attacks are punishable on block and don't really combo together. The air one she does is easily punishable.

Thats probably my problem. Dont really block enough. Also about that throw exclaimation point: If you press throw while thats being displayed, you can escape right?

Papercuts

fired zero bullets in the orphanage.
One of the reasons I picked up Tager is his sledge breaks though Noel's drive attacks(along with any projectile), which means I looove playing D spammers in ranked matches. I think that lobby was the first time I played legitimately good Noels, but it still helped out a lot there.

Every time I feel like I shouldn't lose to a Tager again, I face one that breaks my distance advantage with whatever attack of his that has that long invuln frame and gets a short combo off for 40% of my HP or I muck up an approach and fail to tech a throw. No offense Tager players but whenever I lose to a Tager as Rachel, I feel a little sad on the inside. It's one of those overwhelming advantage matches that just hurts when I lose, I guess ... but hey, if it was a guaranteed win, this wouldn't be fun at all.

Yeah, but you can also input it BEFORE the throw. It's kind of guessing it but most the throw ranges are shorter than attack range so when they get closer than normal, get ready for it. That and corners and after recoveries is a fairly vulnerable spot.

I dunno, not really sure what to say to advice that outside of practice :(

:lol Have we played before in another game?

I'm slowly learning these matchups so I was just happy to get a nice win off that nasty Tager. I swear he comes from the Potemkin school of scrub killing and yet I always pick the character that these guys match up best against (not about about BB yet but GG was a tough match).

Edit: Oh you were the Litchi, man those games had my head spinning! You're all over the place!

No, never; I barely started my experience with LIVE and BB yesterday. Hopefully we play some other time :D

Edit: OMG, you thought I was mistaking you for someone, huh? XD "What the heck's this wacko going on about?" You should read your opponents' names sometime :p Yeah, I was the Litchi :lol

Yeah, you completely shut me down that one match. :lol

I've never played GG before but Potemkin looks like a lot of fun to play, Tager is just fun as hell when I can get on a roll with him, though it took me awhile(and still gets at me) that I can't air dash or dash in general. It's hard for me to mix up my game with him but I'm still messing around with some different strategies.

I finished the true story and came away pretty pleased. The only playable character I like got some decent attention. :)

I'm disappointed that there is no "Ky" like character is this game. Jin is too crazy for me. I like his char design, but I don't want to play that wacko. Now the only character I like is Noel.

Tsubaki is almost certain to be a downloadable character/playable in the next BlazBlue though. I like her a lot too. If Aksys or ARC doesn't make her turn into another crazy head AND keeps the fan service crap away from her character, and if she stays the awesome Tsubaki from Noel's and Teach Me Litchi story modes, I'll be maining her. :D

Keep Tsubaki's appearance modest, ARC. Please.

Tsubaki is cool, but it's all about Jubei. *cue female Japanese voices shrieking, "JUBEI-NEKOOOOO!!!~"*

Who else thinks carl clover is frustrating to play? So hard to win with him
I picked him once in a room and did not even understand what I was doing. I imagine he's to intricate for the lazy and simple like me.

I'm a masochist. Still trying to learn Rachel. Screw learning combos, I'm just going straight into online battles.

Record is 3-21 so far. :lol

I find myself getting much better with her so far though. I can even manage to give some higher level players a pretty hard time, even though I can't quite go all the way.

Some people have mentioned it a couple of times that he is probably the lowest tiered character in the game. And that the only way to win in a serious match is to get the opponent in the clap trap.

:lol at the black lagoon op. Noel two hand.

Edit: Except its a Rachel video -_-

I actually want to learn Rachel, too, along with Taokaka (My fave's Litchi). I picked Rachel on a whim and REALLY liked her style; controlling the wind was a blast :D

Anyway, I'm new to the game, myself. Do you have it on 360? We should play.
