My friend bought a rap car once but had to get rid of it 3 months later because his doctor recommended it. Said that his hearing impairment was due to the recent rap car purchase and the loudness of it. Like I always say, say NO to rap cars.

When keepin it real goes wrong. Very, very wrong.
Rap music makes me feel incredable when i listen to it. The louder the better.

You ain't lived till you have sat in your front garden drinking a beer blasting juicy.

If you lived near me, you'd get to hear someone blasting vocaloid music with the windows down.

I also play rap though, so

Goddamn, dem gurls will be up in your shit in 1 sec son.

You should see me riding around in my Mini Cooper D Rap car blasting tunes like this. I'll be hoping up and down whilst looking at people with my 'ye that's what's up homey'-face.
Just look at this beauty, if this doesn't scream Rap prodigee, I don't know what does:

Those that need to be loud are loud (be it in speech, music or anything) because they are afraid that they are not getting the attention they feel they deserve. By being louder, they are overcompensating for personal issues.

Maturity, bitches.
You see?
The kids, they drive the rap cars
which gives them the brain damage
You see?
With their Hippin' and their hoppin'
And their Bippin' and their Boppin'
So they don't know what the jazz cars are all about!
You see?

lol, wow just wow. Some of yall have to lighten up. I want to say this is a joke post, but I'm sure this is 100% serious.

There is almost nothing better in this world than blasting rap music at max volume in a car with a bunch of your bros.

It's the reason bangers are made.

Because rap cars come standard with the loud noise and it costs extra to have it removed. Since people who listen to rap are mostly of low income they cant afford to have it removed.

A solution that you may try is to blast loud Celine Dion music from your house when a rap car is parked outside, rap cars are notorious for being scared of loud Celine Dion music.

I wish there were more thrash cars around here.

Driving slowly around, bumping Kreator. Would add a bit of 80s style postapocalyptic vibe to my everyday life.

i agree up till personal issues part, this is about getting attention and being obnoxious to everyone around them.

plus when its a shit car where the system costs more than the car its makes it worse.

i feel that rap cars have taken all the credit here, and there are tons of cars that play loud reggae/dancehall/soca music too.

i still remember the day this chick was on the roof of a parked jeep doing the dutty wine in the middle of brooklyn.

What?

I want reggae cars in my neighborhood.

Instead all I get are Bieber cars.

Stupid affluent white people.

I only have a "light" rap car...but it's sometimes a metal car, hip-hop car, rock car, techno car, and even occasionally a classical car.

Only one 12" sub, and I don't play it loud in residential zones, only major roads.

With the bass, I can't tell if they're rap cars or dub cars. But one went by my house the other day that shook my shelf. and it has a 24" tube tv on it. I don't even live on the road

Is it wrong that I think the most offensive thing in this image isn't "raper's," but the improper use of apostrophes?
What's wrong? It's Thug's, Hustla's and Raper's gangsta.

Also, isn't "rap car" a Nickelback song? The one that goes "hey-yeeah, I wanna be a rap car"?

The music is meant to play loud, simple as that.
If the bass isn't making your car mirror tremble, you are doing it wrong.

TRUTH !

Driving a DUB car and proud, you wont hear no trunk rattle from me though, as i don't really have one ;P

Man, as long as the sound systems are high quality, I'm generally okay with loud music.

However, the other day I was in the hood (unfortunately), and some dudes roll by in a convertible with some Gucci Man kinda corny shit on full blast. Trunks all rattling wildly, car on the verge of falling apart. Damn, that was lame. Broke ass jokers drawing attention to their broke asses. Driving slow as hell so we could soak in the tacky in all of it's painful glory.

I enjoy music at a good volume, but I feel that a lot of these people are doing irreparable damage to their hearing. It's really very unsafe to be driving around with music pumped up that loud and I'm sure they will regret it down the road.

There's so much talk about weight, smoking, and the like but too many people ignore other very important aspects of the body and go about ruining them with disregard.

Why is this assumed to be a phenomenon specific to rap music? I've heard country, rock, metal, jazz, gospel all blasted. My personal rule is not before noon. If I'm driving I'll keep it down until then. But after that I'll bump my shit.

And not just rap/hip-hop but every genre of music.
