lol, wow just wow. Some of yall have to lighten up. I want to say this is a joke post, but I'm sure this is 100% serious.

I take it you blare your music through neighborhoods and shopping centers for a different reason.

I honestly just laugh whenever some kid is bumping rap or hip hop in his car. He thinks he so damn cool but in the real world, every single last person that hears him and sees him is downright laughing at him

I just find it hilariously entertaining.

edit. Nothing against rap, I listen to it here and there and did a ton when I was younger. Its not the music, its the silly ass wanna be in his car with his 2 paycheck sound system lol

Wait it minute? So if it was country,Rock, or Jazz music the person was bumping loud, you wouldn't mind at all? Why do you assume he is a wanna be? How DARE someone turn their music up that they own!!!

MY GOD!!!!

Never let your children get into a rap car.

The bass and treble are usually off, the the speakers are improperly placed and just vibrate the entire car instead of letting sound out, and there are usually wires everywhere.

It's inhuman.

It's not just rap. Where i live it's gabberhouse, rap, metal, but also shit like Robby Williams and the Black Eyed Peas, John Bob Jovi, Keisha, etc. Every shitty fuckass music ever made.

I have yet to be convinced otherwise, feel free to change my point of view, but imo Loud people are mostly unintelligent.

hmm...I tend to bump my music on the drive home from work, if I'm the only one in my car. Don't give a shit what people think about it.

:lol

Let him go on with his superiority complex. He doesn't know that people actually laugh at him when he comes in thumping his chest like that.

I sometimes hear loud rap music in cars passing by but in my experience 90% of the fucking loud cars is shitty spanish music. My neighbor does this shit all the time during the day.

Fucking Accordions.

I lived in an apartment where I heard this music all the time. Dudes would be gathered around someone's car in the parking lot blasting it at all hours. I don't know what that genre is called (banda or norteno maybe?) but I grew to hate the polka cars.

I had a rap car encounter last night at a gas station. I'm minding my own business filling up the tank, and all of a sudden this rap car (actually it was a rap SUV) pulls up on the other side of the pump. Needless to say the SUV was blasting rap music at an intolerably loud volume. Dude gets out, lady stays in the car listening to her loud rap music. Dude does not go to the pump, instead he goes into the store to buy cigarettes. Why they had to park next to me and not in a parking spot in front of the store will forever be a mystery to me. Also dude and lady were white, if anyone cares.

Honestly I don't care that it was rap, all humor aside. It could have been anything and it still would have been too loud. I think that's pretty disrespectful to be doing in public especially when you've come to a complete stop somewhere where people are around.

This means nothing. Was the car(SUV) black? Not to stereotype or anything, just a question.

I blew a fuse in my old Ford Taurus once when the bass first drops on "Regulate" by Warren G and Nate Dogg. BOOM, no sound, no speedometer, no turn signals. Just glad the headlights still worked.

People and their stereotypes lol

There's a red light just outside my job. I hear every genre you can imagine blasted to the highest volume everyday. 9/10 I hate it. Only time I recall actually enjoying it was when i was having a rough day at work and someone stopped at the light playing hard knock life lol

i dont know any music genre that does this. never Alice in Chains. never Solange Knowles. its always someone with rap music. playing it all loud because they think the whole block wanted to hear it. Class or work early in the morning? sucks for you. newborn baby? too bad. heres more rap music!

I've heard all kinds of music blasting out of cars, so it's not just rap. Maybe you just live in the hood.

I can answer this very easily, you see I rarely hear anyone playing Country, Rock Jazz or anything as loud as possible and as a means to 'look cool'. If I did, they would get laughed at just the same.. I cannot discriminate here. An idiot is an idiot regardless of what music they listen to.

I assume every person bumping rap is a wanna be, because if they were a real G they would be confined to their territory, doing gansta stuff not driving around the mall with all of their paychecks on display via clothing or stereo equipment. Its just so hilariously juvenile and comical ... not a single person they drive past... not 1, not a girl, not a guy not a kid not an old person is remotely impressed by their bass, their amp levels or their swag.

Every single person just laughs at them. And its not rare for me to actually point directly at them in their car so they can see me and laugh while pointing, just to make them feel extra stupid. These are the least frightening people on the planet so I have no worries.

edit. I do on occasion run into some surfer kids at the beach blasting some rock.. they are just as stupid and just as much posers as the other guys. Its pure entertainment, so I enjoy running into any of these clowns.

Fuck you young people
and your loud music
and your rap cars
and your subwoofers
and your oversized rims
and your off balance suspensions
and your entitlement complex
and your future hearing problems
and your heavy metal
and your brostep
and your buzzing trunks
and your lack of understanding of an equalizer

When I come up on someone blaring loud music, no matter the genre
I play some 14805.2hz sine waves AT MAX VOLUME
I JUST LIKE TO LISTEN TO IT LOUD, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT MY PERSONAL CHOICES

back in my day blahblahblah

This was a worse problem back in the 90's iirc, and I was guilty of it :/ Haven't put a system in my car in over a decade now and am fine with that.

A week ago I heard this blaring noise approaching, and it was a person in said RAP CAR who's stereo must have been so broken because the only thing you coudl hear was this horrible distorted treble. It was unreal.

I used to drive around listening to AM NRP all treble as a joke.

But I agree. This and loud cars. About 3 months ago some punk in a beater Honda civic with modified lawnmower exhaust was driving by while I was walking my ~6 mo old puppy. To get a laugh, he revved his engine or did some stupid shit, it killed my ears and made my dog take off sprinting, and he was sick for the rest of the night. It, seriously, could have killed my dog.

When you modify your car to make it startlingly loud and stupid sounding, you have to realize that every time you drive by an animal, you're abusing the animal.

Damn dude... Sounds you need to smile, laugh, and enjoy life more. From your post I quoted, it seems as if rap cars are your kryptonite lol.

So it's wrong for them to bring attention to themselves with their loud rippty rap music but perfectly fine for you to bring attention yourself by pointing and laughing at them? You assume they are the least frightening people on the planet until you point at the wrong person...

It's not that serious mang! lol

Let me google that
Edit: aah, right...
Well any loud music outside will make me introduce myself, so be me guest.

Anyway, You know WHAT would be hilarious? If they made all motorcycles electric. Hahaaaa can't wait to see the insecure faces of the Hell's Angels.

I am kind of surprised that you haven't heard any other genres do this, cause it is not just rap. Also something something get off my lawn.

Hearing music blasting out of a car is generally a "who cares?" type of non-event.

But when I hear opera blasting out of a car, I turn my head.

I live right off the sidewalk, so it can be annoying when someone's sound system starts shaking my windows, but at least they're driving and pass by quickly. Of course there's a traffic light right next to my place, so if they get a red light it's even more annoying. The thing that annoys me is the people that treat their cars like their portable stereo. If you are driving, I have no beef with you. It's those that park their car, get out and leave for an extended period of time while their system is still blaring. You're not even in your car, so why do you leave your music on? This goes for any music with crazy loud bass, not just rap.

I remember when I had my Golf 2 that was already passed down over 5 times. We were listening to Game and 50 when it was the hottest thing out with the bass cracking from the awful speakers and while driving my exhaust pipe actually fell off. My friends were laughing their asses off and of course a few girls walking by did the same thing. Was mad and sad at the time but really fun times looking back

I do this all the time. But with all sorts of music. I have a versatile car.
I love this. It really does depend on the car. What car do you drive? I'd like a versatile car as well

STOP SHITTING ON MY MOTHER'S HEADSTONE
Why do you assume people playing rap music loud are trying to "look cool" instead of just enjoying their music at a loud volume?

I think your insecurities are playing a pretty big part here.

When I was like 5 or 6 years old, whenever someone would visit my parents, I would run to my room, grab a toy, run back and show it to the guest. Then I would run back, put it away, grab another toy and the process would repeat until I was told to sit down.

I don't know why I did that to this day, really. Just to look 'cool', I guess. I liked the attention.
I assume jackasses who bump their stereos have that same mentality and/or mental capacity I did when I was 6.
Which is sad for them.
