VGA World Premiere Details Coming Tomorrow

Ironically if Sony Computer Entertainment has any fucking brains, this would be a perfect opportunity to show off a new trailer for Gran Turismo 5 (the damage one), or God of War 3 (instead of embargoing that shit to January).

Here's some other random guesses:
Resistance 3
Killzone 3
Killer Instinct 3
Dead Rising 2

Meh, the censored and truncated GOW3 trailer of last year did more bad than good. I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed that Sony won't show anything this year on this crap show.

The Uncharted 2 trailer, however, had us hyped to unreal levels. Hopefully Sony pulls in a last minute punch.

Mirror's Edge 2 or similar game with the same Engine
Mirror's Edge runs on Unreal Engine 3, so I can almost guarantee you that a title with the same engine will be there.

Sec, need to finish eating, and then I will go update everything in the thread.

My apologies about Dead Space 2. I thought he was hinting with that statement. :/

Only thing that could beat the premiere of Halo: Reach is a trailer for Episode 3 followed by "Coming 2010".
If Valve puts up a trailer I think Counter-Strike 2 would be more likely. I really doubt they're going to just sell a game as Episode 3/Portal 2, and both Valve and the videogame market seem very multiplayer focused lately.

Weren't the trailers last year kinda bad? I remember the awful GoW3 trailer and the HORRIBLE dante's inferno trailer.

Supposedly they're better this year as the trailers have become the main focus of the show instead of the awards, and thus they get more time for each trailer.

If that time is used effectively though is the real question.

Let me join in the fun

Gears 3 or new Epic IP
Mirror's Edge 2 or similar game with the same Engine
New Tomb Raider
Orange Box 2
Twisted Metal PS3
Burnout 6
Mortal Kombat 9
Ninja Theory's nextgame (creators of Heavenly Sword)
inFamous 2
Tom Clancy game
UFC 2010
Elder Scrolls V
Trailer of a game with less info (Deus Ex 3, Crysis 2, Max Payne 3, etc)

This isnt E3 im not expected much, the reason I gave so many guesses is if I get one of them right I get to say I TOLD YOU I WAS RIGHT :lol

I'd do sick and twisted things for this to come true.

Criterion is currently making the next Need For Speed game, so I kind of doubt they have a Burnout ready to show to the press, if one is even in development considering how much worse Burnout sells than Need For Speed.

I feel that this reboot of NFS will end to be Burnout Paradise 2 with Need For Speed name on it.

anyway Criterion and DICE deserve better than just rebooting old EA series, but let say what with this new strategy of EA in 2010.

In fact, Keighley said they had "north of about about 40 games" offered for the show, but had to make the difficult decision to pick and choose the best fits for the VGA audience. It's balancing act, he says, between offering up content for the hardcore gamers, while still appealing to Spike's more mainstream demographic.
We can't get people to unveil games at GamesCom or TGS, and we only get a scant few at E3, but we can get publishers to line up around the block and offer 40 game debuts for the Spike VGAs.

Also updating the OP.

Edit: Update complete.

I am hoping for the Tomb Raider reboot to make a debut, but I highly doubt it will. Keighley has list of publishers announcing their games for VGAs, and SE isn't one of them. I'd say though that December is just about the right time to debut the game, a month and a year after Tomb Raider Underworld's release.

Random guess: 2-3 new albums announced for The Beatles: Rock Band for January - March.
Well, it's definitely possible they're announcing something at the VGAs:

I doubt they'll announce more Beatles albums though, the game didn't sell well to begin with and making Beatles albums available as DLC is much more intensive than regular DLC. If anything, I think we'll see at least a regular album announcement (Ten was announced at the VGAs), or maybe the Green Day track pack (though I don't know why Spike would choose that over dozens of other games). Or RB3, which I'm personally hoping for.
Believe, etc.

Looks like Star Wars: Legends will be revealed tomorrow. If that shit is a fighting game or a reskinned X-Men: Legends/Marvel Ultimate Alliance, I'm going to scream.

Horrible relative to what? Are you in any way implying that there's been a GOOD trailer for that awful pile of shit?

They were "bad" (I'd replace it with brief) because of the show format. I think GoW3 looked bad during the show, then right after the full one went up and it was awesome. Hoping the same happens tomorrow where it's more a teaser shown and the full trailer is up later in the night.

It seems that there is some live stream because when you go on gametrailers.com and at the rehearsal sneak peak you see at the picture above a Main Stage button.

Justin.TV dude.

There'll be streams one way or another.

A man can dream. I still need at least Revolver and The White Album. Rock Band 3 would be awesome though!

I expect a trailer to the new Starbreeze Studios game as well as the first Fallout: New Vegas trailer.

First footage for Agent (the Rockstar game) and Need for Speed: Burnout would be nice too.

It's the shows fault that Sony released a shitty trailer?
This year would be a good year to show casuals how far the game has come.

Speaking about the actual awards,
if ODST doesn't win best Original Soundtrack I'll eat my shoe (and hate the world).

I don't know if it's nomminated, but AC2 had the best soundtrack of the last few months, followed by MW2, possibly followed by ODST.

EDIT: But I'm sure ODST will win because it has "Halo 3" in the title.
