98% of British gamers have an entertainment subscription of some form and 83% have access to a gaming subscription.
i dont think you can have enough gamepass threads surely? the more the merrier.Isn't there a gamepass thread for stuff like this?
I am the data, stop fucking downplaying it just because it's not from Sony. You fanboys are as pathetic as my sex life.Data from my ass lol
Same. A lot of people bitch about everything being a subscription service nowadays but I pay like 50 bucks a month for my entire entertainment needs and I'm usually 100% happy without ever having to spend a penny more (there are some small exceptions). Shit's never been cheaper.there is no doubt in this regard. I myself am a subscriber to prime, Spotify, Netflix, Disney +, gamepass and skyq
Damn sorry to hear that. Must be hard be an fanboy and have a pathetic sex lifeI am the data, stop fucking downplaying it just because it's not from Sony. You fanboys are as pathetic as my sex life.
Both. It basically means that Game Pass members use their subscriptions more often than other gaming subscription members.Am I the only one that doesn’t understand this sentence:
![]()
Does it mean ”playing games at least once a week” or ”plays games through a subscription service”? Something is confusing me with the way it is formulated
There there gifNo, I just like to call out scums like you because it gets tiring and you people make the PlayStation community a bad place to be. -- Also how cute to even think I'm a fanboy, maybe you should look at my fucking history and find out that no I'm not a fanboy, I'm a gamer who is tired of morons like you downplaying everything Xbox does. You are doomsayers of Netflix, claiming it would not fly off yet Netflix and the service they provide is worth millions if not billions. Again as long as I still have a voice on here, I will continue to call you and everyone else who is a fanboy either that be an Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo out. You don't like it --- Ehh I don't care.
I was having this thought about the claim that gamepass users don't buy games honestly.Ok, but is that correlation or causation. They should compare numbers before and after someone subscribes to Game Pass.
You just proved my point, and ignored, my list is getting big. There there gif
Jokes on you I ignored you firstYou just proved my point, and ignored, my list is getting big.
Entertainement subscription can also count library or cinema subscriptions as well as some store where you can borrow games etc ... It basically mean everyone excpet maybe oldest people.I can believe those statements. But the one on the right is vague enough to relate to pretty much anything.
This is about any subscriptions at all. Can be Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, etc. And yes, PS+ also counts towards gaming subscriptions.
Is this data available for all countries? Any specific part of the Xbox website for every country? They did the same in other countries, like France:
![]()
Surprisingly there are fewer people using a gaming subscription or subscription at all there.
Also this should be in the GamePass thread before the usual downplay crew arrives... too late.
I found Germany here: https://nintendo-power.com/study-th...across-germany-stay-in-touch-with-each-other/Is this data available for all countries? Any specific part of the Xbox website for every country?
Cheers also gave some more info on the survey
Ah, I found the swedish one that I was curious to see:
The Xbox customer-base has shurnk, and by definition the hardcore are the last to leave. So this is just an extension of the MAU argument that current Xbox customers spend more money per person.
The Xbox customer-base has shurnk
If you are replying due to the typo, I am not sure I was worth your while.
Interesting. How many Xbox customers are there and how much has the base shrunk? It would be interesting to see the trends here. The Xbox customer-base has shurnk, and by definition the hardcore are the last to leave. So this is just an extension of the MAU argument that current Xbox customers spend more money per person.
Yes, the data is likely right. It is the interpretation that is sus. But then we are talking about Xbox PR department, probably the most incompetent department of the entire Xbox Division. So it makes sense that they are not convincing anyone except those who are already playing Xbox.
I don't care about typos. I'm just vary of your claim. Everything we know implies that the customer base is growing, not shrinking. If you are replying due to the typo, I am not sure I was worth your while.
If you are disagreeing because you think I was wrong, then you can just post the signature "triggered" emoji like every other Xbox poster here. Because you can think all you want, but if Xbox is truly growing MS would have TOLD US.
The very fact that they advertise Gamepass as "Our customers spend more money on average", is meant to hide the fact that "We have less customers than before". Because why even use that silly metric? It is a metric that literally only works if you have less customers.
Back in the Wii-U disaster, Nintendo would have hardcores left still playing and could have made the same claim. "Wii-U customers spent more money on average than Wii customers". And they would be telling the truth. It just wouldn't be a good thing.
We should probably just make a thread for all Sony news too then.Isn't there a gamepass thread for stuff like this?
Saddest thing I've read this month.I am the data, stop fucking downplaying it just because it's not from Sony. You fanboys are as pathetic as my sex life.
We'd never know as Microsoft doesnt release those numbers.
I think it counts as « playing through a subscription ». There’s no way they would find a statistically significant number of PSNow subs by asking 2,000 ppl in each country so it probably included PS+ and NSO.I really want to know what they count as a gaming subscription here. Does signing up for PS+ so you can play your physical copy of FIFA online count as "playing games through a subscription"?
