Problem is, with this win (and assuming a strong showing next week, possibly sweeping Connecticut), if he isn't getting 1237 its going to be CLOSE. I'm talking within 70 delegates. And if they deny him the nomination when he has like, 48% of the delegates while cruz has like 30%, that could cause a shitstorm of epic proportions.

That one is fake. Mom buying chicken tendies is a meme. You are internet-sheltered if you haven't heard it before. (which isn't a bad thing, but just saying)

Outside of Gaf, I don't touch social media at all. I used reddit a little bit last year for the amiibo craze but that was it. Tumblr, facebook, twitter, you name it, I don't touch it. I am extremely oblivious to 99% of the internet "things". I use it for information and discussion boards :)

I have no idea what this answer has to do with my post.

Of course I would vote for Bernie in the general election.

You've been pushing hard against (and taking weirdly personal offense at) posts that suggest Bernie supporters wouldn't vote for Hillary in the general in all these threads. But now you just said you think the "divide" is comparable or worse than '08. The only reason the contentiousness matters is for general election votes. So which is it?

Because Bernie supporters realize that Hillary is the best chance to have any sort of change in the country compared to the alternative in the general election.

Bernie and Hillary disagree much more than Obama and Hillary ever did. That is also true for their supporters.

So even though that both sides are more divided this time around, no one wants to see a republican as president again. I certainly don't.

I take offense to accusations that have no factual basis to them and are meant to attack and discourage Bernie supporters.

25 for a pair. $20 bucks for shipping to SoCal.

The other part of my family had to break the glass ceiling for us to afford these lol
Yeah I saw they were at least for a pair. But goddamn. $45 basically for two glasses. They're badass but that may be over my limit.

Maybe another night when I've had many more drinks.

Most people will probably just not vote. His demo is primarily young (college age) white male voters, the most unreliable voter in the world.

It's the same thing as last time a big state voted "we didn't lose as much as polls said!" Type shit

But... They did lose as much as polls said. And they lost more than what the exit polls said. What they said in that statement is an even limper argument than "we did better than expected!"

Yeah, it's a shame. I might put them off for during the general, but the design itself is awesome.

That's a misperception. While college-age white men may make up a plurality of Sanders' supporters, they're nowhere close to a majority.

Thats some epic spin
Heh. My facebook feed is all "He won every county! (except for the ones people actually live in)" and "Obama lost NY in 2008 and still won the nomination" posts. I... I'm fine letting those guys enjoy their delusions. They're not the dick Sanders supporters. At least, I haven't seen any "Hillary is the devil and she's coming to rape your babies!" rhetoric from them.

An email I received from the Bernie campaign says: "If everybody who has signed up to support our campaign made a $2.70 contribution tonight, we will have the resources we need to do very well next week and to take the pledged delegate lead on June 7."

To be honest, it scares me that people might believe this after his loss tonight.

I want to see a Clinton/Sanders//Sanders/Clinton ticket -- either order. Don't like seeing all this animosity within the dem party. Want to see dems united strong against Trump/Cruz.
There are zero reasons for Hillary to tap Sanders for her VP, especially when there are better options out there.

The results from tonight are bring out the worst in some of my friends it seems. Had two of them like this and the comments on it aren't any less insane than the post itself:

The third most popular reaction on the first one is laughing, it's a joke.

The second one yeah it's an overreaction but closed primaries are silly, he still would have lost but whatever

You should have realized that the only reason that Bernie loses any state is through corruption and fraud

FTFY

Jokes aside, that's quite a wide margin of votes between Clinton and Sanders. If he loses PA, it's officially over. He has a sliver of a chance to win the nomination, but I'm not too optimistic about the whole situation for him.

It's officially over now.

It's been officially over for a month.

Every state should be a caucus. It'd route out low information voters and make the process much more democratic. I mean, have you seen how politically active and social caucuses are? Primaries where people simply cast a vote are corrupt.

The post itself may indeed possibly be a joke but venturing through the comments you have people actually openly posting about how great it would be for one of them to attack or assassinate Hillary. It's absolutely disgusting beyond belief and I given how "passionate" these people can get I really can't give them the benefit of the doubt.
