Some people don't have the time to play that many games so they just stick to one platform and don't find it worthwhile to buy 2 or 3 platforms if they don't play much.I'd love to meet enthusiastic gamers who only play on one platform. It would be an interesting convo i think. I don't understand it but maybe they can explain why.
If it's for budgetary reasons I get it, but if it's out of choice I find it odd.
I just want halo Forza vr2 support and Xbox controller support.Have any of the Xbox only gamers decided to convert to PlayStation now that some of your favorite games will also be coming to PlayStation?

The whole premise of the thread is ridiculous. We’re gamers. There are no “Sony gamers”, or “Xbox gamers”, you buy a console for a reason, whatever that reason is, and especially nowadays it isn’t necessarily for one game that you simply have to have. That’s Nintendo’s wheelhouse now. PS certainly doesn’t have anything amazing to write home about this gen as a true killer app. There’s no Xbox or PS equivalent to a BotW just lingering away locked on only one console that is exclusive to this generation.Fwiw, only 1% of people here are Xbox only gamers - at least based on a poll from June 2024. Only 5 people identified themselves as such in that poll.

Poll: Where Do You Play Your Games? On Which Platforms?
Where do you play your games? Playstation? Xbox? Switch? PC? All of the above? I'm not trying to stir console wars here, just to get some up-to-date stats on where GAF plays. I took a similar poll back in 2018 (linked below). That was 6 years ago. I figured it was time to get some...www.neogaf.com
How many die hard PS gamers think that playing once Xbox only games corrupts once pure PlayStation DNA
I love my Series X and I’ve never really been into first-party Xbox games so the lack of strong first party continues to not really be relevant to me. I love the back compat boosting, I love the total carry-over of my digital games from 360 and One, and I prefer to play the major third party games like Monster Hunter, Witcher 3, Skyrim, etc on Xbox. And I love that I can open up the Xbox app on my ROG Ally X and play nearly any of my Xbox games natively on the go, with instant cloud sync. Simple as that.ive always had both systems and ill continue to as long as they both exist. Gamepass > ps whatever that is
Which is why a rental service where you don't get to choose the games for yourself will never be ideal.Thats totally fine. People have different taste.
Stupid question when Gamepass exists.Have any of the Xbox only gamers decided to convert to PlayStation now that some of your favorite games will also be coming to PlayStation?
You're assuming that every Xbox owner is using game passStupid question when Gamepass exists.
Because everyone wants to spend $250 a year to rent games that someone else chooses for them, right?Stupid question when Gamepass exists.
So what are all the fanboys going to do is Xbox does drop out of the hardware space? What will you talk about then? You going to try to go after Nintendo ?![]()
Yeah I think the natural progression at least for enthusiasts is to move over to PC. And casuals and mainstream gamers will keep on using the console they already have unless new games stop coming to it. Swapping platform altogether and start repurchasing games is going to a rare thing, could possibly see some dedicated console-only enthusiasts double dip for the Pro upgrades, if they’re big, which I doubt.Right. That would feel like a step backwards for Xbox-only guys, most of whom are big fans of GP and have large digital libraries. PC is a much better choice for them than PS - assuming they are willing to deal with the hassles and costs of PC gaming.
Is this a joke post or something?? As far as I know Xbox Games are Coming to Playstation not the other way around.Totally, but it's best just to ignore their tired provocations.
And always remember this- we have everything and they have nothing. No wonder they remain obsessed with Xbox.
dont forget the xbox controller lasts longer than 12 minutes like my ps5 controllerI love my Series X and I’ve never really been into first-party Xbox games so the lack of strong first party continues to not really be relevant to me. I’d only consider buying a PS5 at some point down the line maybe if Ghost of Yotei turned out to be particularly amazing or something like that. But that’s a big IF. I’ve got more than I have time for anyway with my Series X, Switch, and ROG Ally X.
Seeing that one will have everything the other has plus more, having both now is for people who are bad with money. One of the best lines I read on this site was something along the lines of console warring is for poor people who can't afford both.![]()
That isnt the point at all. The point is it is pointless because all Xbox games are day 1 PC releases, not because someone’s PC isnt on par with the Series X. A redundant device from conception. Not at all, not everyone has a pc that can run games as well as a series x can.
Everything? Won’t happen. PS will get new games, post-2025 games, assumably often day 1 but sometimes late, I’ll throw out a guess at 10 games total this generation going by what’s known to be in development and how long it takes to finish games now. And also a couple older popular ones like Forza Horizon 5 as we know, maybe 10 there as well but that’s a stretch.Seeing that one will have everything the other has plus more

This is what I mean. Windows is not garbage, but it comes with errors, problems, crashes, freezes, slow downs, black out screens, DLL errors, exe errors. The problems just kept happening for me and that's why I'm console for life. Also I use Apple for main computing now days. Windows has given me continued problems with any brand computer I bought.Doesn't change the fact that PC gaming sucks. Computers remind me of work, which means I don't want to deal with them in my freetime.
I can't understand why someone would willingly game on a massive box when more sleek, visually appealing options are available. And I'm not paying extra to troubleshoot. Plug and play for the win. Console for life.
Strangely this was all lost in the angerI read the topic line in the voice of "will you turn to JAYYYYSSSUUSSSS who will clean you of your sins my son?"

Killer Instinct with a proper d-pad
But the proof is in the pudding. I had a pc, I also had an Xbox series x, the games ran better on the xbox, so i chose to buy my games on an xbox. That isnt the point at all. The point is it is pointless because all Xbox games are day 1 PC releases, not because someone’s PC isnt on par with the Series X. A redundant device from conception.
And the vast majority of third party games and hundreds of backwards compatibility titles that aren't available on PS5.Xbox has Microsoft games
PlayStation has a small amount of Microsoft games. You can't play Gears of War, Halo, Rare Replay or Forza Horizon 1-4 on PS5. So your statement is factually incorrect. Whatever happens in the future there will be a lot of games that don't appear on PS. Eg Halo 5 has never appeared on PC.PlayStation has Microsoft AND Sony games AND more third party games
Go repeat your "Xbox is dead" mantra a few more times to make yourself feel better.Your logic is retarded as always
Have any of the Xbox only gamers decided to convert to PlayStation now that some of your favorite games will also be coming to PlayStation?
You guys act like you hate fanboys and yet still make fanboysim threads like this.
The vast majority of Xbox fanbase will move over to PlayStation. Most Xbox fans are casuals and they will go where they can play their favourite shooter/sports games easily and that is a playstation console.
This simple fact scares the Xbox refugees it's why they shill for pc now. That thought agonises them.
Can you layout the math for a year of COD on gamepass vs PS purchase?Shooters can be played cheapest on Xbox through gamepass. Why would someone interested in COD move to PS and pay more? Makes no sense
You should check out this game called Super Mario Bros and its sequelsI've been a lifelong Xbox only player
Is that on playstation? You should check out this game called Super Mario Bros and its sequels
