Kingdom Come: Deliverance II ⊰♖|OT|♖⊱ Stop! Or My Henry Will Swing His Sword!

While fast-travelling I was stopped by a holy drifter. He gave me a riddle, I answered correctly, he rewarded me with 150 Groschen, great! Thing is I really liked the unique hat he had on so as we parted ways I turned around and killed him, dumped the body in the bushes and put on my stylish new headwear, good times!

The women in this game looks like men with wigs, it actually complements the theme of the game quite nicely with the Henry butt sex scenes and feminist Musa of Mali who educates you about how to respect women :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Just look at this shit lmao

Sigh, yeah show all face models next. It's an medieval simulation. Believe it or not not all women look like super models. There's quite a few pretty ones in the game, but sure cherry pick.

You may have some wrong perception of what beauty means.

I really like the physicality of the world. Animations upon animations for everything, it knows it's audience and is almost completely uncompromising in delivering it's vison. Like if RDR2 didn't have to dumb itself down a bit for the GTA audience.
I'm sorry?

Rdr2 physicality thanks to the euphoria engine is night and day better than this game.

Just running through npcs in the 2 games show a huge difference on how npcs react, fall down, lose balance etc.

No one is ever gonna come close to the physicality of rockstar games.

Unless i completely misunderstood what you mean.

It's just cool and edgy to hate on RDR2.

I dont think he was hating on RDR2 🤣

I think he's saying this game does it even better than rdr2 animations wise
That is even worse tbh.

That game has the largest amount of unique animations i ever seen in my life and the physicality is light years better than kc2, at least how i personally consider physicality in games.

You misunderstood I should have clarified, I'm not saying this game has better animations than Red Dead 2, I'm saying RDR2 cut corners gameplay wise. Feels like R* started out like they wanted to make a hardcore outlaw simulator, but then paired it down to match the normal R* mission based experience, where you can ignore 95% of the immersive systems and the game will still be easy as piss, all you need is dead eye.

If these faces were in other woke games the whole entirety of gaf would shit on them from great heighs, let's not even try to say otherwise.

You would make more sense by saying that they tried to depict medieval beaty instead of teaching me what "real beauty" is.

I'm not gonna play the hypocrite game just because kc2 is beloved inside gaf.

they're the same level as the main characters, really. not stunning, not that ugly looking either. Like not sure why you would expect a bunch of peasants to look like Marvel Rivals characters.

Yeah it doesn't. But what it does do is give the player a choice on how to solve quests, RDR2 is shite and linear in comparison. KCD2 let's you reach your objective however you please, not only as the developers wanted you to.

Oh yeah, rockstar mission design is absolutely dogshit nowadays.

They should really make half the mission super cinematic with no freedom but at least make the other half of the missions like small sandboxes.

You could do some crazy shit in gta3 to finish some missions.

After the success of gta4, 5 etc. I think they are scared to death to change formula, like ubisoft with their brands.

Agreed, GTA3 gave you options. It's whether the developer lets you use the game mechanics freely to solve an objective or not. GTA3 did it and so does KCD2, RDR2 absolutely doesn't

While working for a miller I went to a bed assuming it was mine. Bitch housemaid woke me up in the middle of the night accusing me of being a criminal. Told her to fuck off. She said she'd call the guards if I didn't pay her 25 groschen. So I did.
I hid in the bushes nearby to stalk her. Heard her say "Thank the lord everything is here" while checking her chest wich is a cool detail.
To sums things up, I knocked her down, dragged her ass to the woods and sent her back to the Creator. Got my money back and then some.

The moral of the story is: If you see a guy wearing heavy armor, covered in blood sleeping on your bed, sleep somewhere else.

TintoConCasera

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
One nit-pick, I am covered in blood after a fight with a wolf, and there is a huge storm with rain everywhere and Henry doesn't get clean?

Makes no sense
I believe just water doesn't make it anymore. You need soap and a place to wash your clothes in.

IRL rain alont wouldn't take off the blood splatters either probably.

I just got 350 for a stolen horse! Also gave me a few initial items for MY first horse.

Just found a lone Cuman on the trail.. so yeah, dead and stole his horse.
I'm not stealing shit, the whole law system look pretty wonky and unreliable, it help that i never gonna use much money at all because i like to find all my loot during exploration and i hate buying stuff from shops in all of my rpgs, it make exploration more exciting.

Maybe if the game was hard as nail but it is not remotely the case here.

Not to derail this thread, but which game would you recommend, KCD2 or RDR2? I'm currently in the process of going back and playing older open world games that I skipped in the past due to time constraints. Right now, I'm wrapping up The Witcher 3's final piece of DLC and it has become my favorite game of all time. I was leaning towards RDR2 because it's currently $20 on PSN, but you guys are making it hard with all of the KCD2 praise in this thread.

KyoZz

Tag, you're it.
Those freakin wolves and wild dogs are so annoying, FFS it's faster to hit them with your hands than with a sword. I hate them.

After being given the runaround by a troupe of pushy Nomads for days, saving their lives and reuniting their family, they said I was family and could sleep in their camp any time.

God forbid, I slept in the wrong bed and got woken up by a someone calling the camp guards on me. I took as many of them out as I could before dying. Then re-loaded and slept in the right bed this time.

Biggest crime back then... sleeping in someone's else bed :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Honestly there isn't any reason you shouldn't play both, which are masterpieces, anyway obviously RDR2 is much cheaper so it might be best to play it first... but if you care about 60fps then by all means wait a few years until Rockstar will move their ass and make an upgraded version for console. You win any way. :)

Both great, but rdr2 was my goty 2018 (with gow 2018) so i'm always gonna prefer that one by far, i'm a super fanboy of rockstar weighty movements and animations but they are not for everyone.

But they are pretty different games even if they are both open world, the only thing they have in common is the hyper realism and super immersion.

I think kc2 is more similar to w3 than rdr2.

edit: fuck, you know what, even if w3 has a more similar structure, the game is not hyper realistic at all so it's hard to say what game is more similar tbh.

RDR2 is a masterpiece. There's not many games like it, I'd play it then KCD2

Ok, so Witcher 3, KCD1 and RDR2 are my three favourite games ever; they all have great storytelling and focus on immersion.

RDR2 shines most in its insane attention to detail and immaculate animation work, its graphics and open world is top, its storytelling is universally good. What is not so great about it is an extreme linearity in all of its main missions - you can get a game over simply by parking your horse in the wrong spot. You are extremely constrained in what to do and how to do it by the designers. The game is still super fun, as long as you accept that.

But this is where KCD (and its sequel) shine. Every quest has multiple ways to resolve, sometimes including ways designers didn't anticipate. You have much more freedom in everything you do. But, since its budget is about 20 times (in KCD1) and 10 times (in KCD2) lower than that of RDR2, the animation work and polish level is not quite as immaculate.

Play whichever you are more in the mood for now, I would say.
